Twisted Sisters in Christ – a dialogue with you!

by Anita Yvonne Schneider

Twisted Sisters in Christ (free to read on Scribd) – click on this link to read the book!

This publication actually occurred in July of this year (2022) but I have been wanting to do a blog on the topic because it was such a special event in my life! You see Anita and I grew up together in the Houston area in the 1970’s timeframe. Our parents were friends and we were best buds. Working on this book with her was an absolute delight – a trip through scripture together and a project formed out of our lives. It is now in print or at least online free to all to read, share, and download. I believe that it will bless your life!

From Anita as we were working on the book: “I am sharing a dialogue written over the years … a one on one conversation between the Holy Spirit and myself … others … and now you. If you have difficulty following, keep reading until you become wrapped up in the conversation. That’s when The Golden Cord will twist.”

Anita is a Follower of the Way, Daughter of the Faithful, Wife of the Honored, Mother of the Strong, Deemaw of the Precious. Lover of the broken, the lost, and the found.

Called to be the Light in the darkness, to share His Truth and Hope for the hopeless.

To stand with Wisdom as a standard against the wiles of the evil one … for our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.

Her greatest accomplishment is knowing who she is in Christ … and in Christ alone.“

I’ve known Anita for most of my life. We were twisted sisters before we knew what that meant. We had adventures together, shared the Lord and many friends together growing up. We were both blessed to have believers for parents who taught us fundamental biblical principals. One thing not mentioned in the book is that she could sing “Amazing Grace” like no one else! This book is for everyone, at any phase of life. It is so unique, so Anita, so important, and so fun. It is profoundly simple and flowing too. It is indeed a conversation with her, but our prayer is that it will spark a life long conversation between you and our Heavenly Father through Yahshua(His Son)“

How Should Christians Feel About Same-Sex Marriage?
June 28, 2015

UPDATE: The Obama administration has set up rainbow-colored lights to illuminate the real-life White House. (Twitter @whitehouse)Whitehouse celebrates SCOTUS ruling

Franklin Graham’s response on white house rainbow colors

The President had the White House lit up in rainbow colors to celebrate the Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage. This is outrageous—a real slap in the face to the millions of Americans who do not support same-sex marriage and whose voice is being ignored. God is the one who gave the rainbow, and it was associated with His judgment. God sent a flood to wipe out the entire world because mankind had become so wicked and violent. One man, Noah, was found righteous and escaped God’s judgment with his family. The rainbow was a sign to Noah that God would not use the flood again to judge the world. But one day God is going to judge sin—all sin. Only those who are found righteous will be able to escape His judgment. That righteousness comes through faith, believing on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ who took our sins and shed His blood on the cross for each and every one. So, when we see the gay pride rainbow splashed on business advertisements and many people’s Facebook pages, may it remind all of us of God’s judgment to come. Are you ready? Are your sins forgiven?

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

He whom the son of Man sets free is free indeed.

Freedom from sin and death — that is real Liberty.

Sandra Crosnoe said: “The state cannot make something right or wrong — that is a function of the Creator. The state can however make your life miserable for not doing what it wants you to do in certain blocks of time. That is the function of power. How long does the state’s power last? Well now we are back to the Creator’s determination. When He says ‘game over’ that will be the end of that. Who is really in control? That would be the Creator. Seek Him while you may…”

Hastings XXX entertainment

Our local Hastings has dropped the ball. It is no longer a safe place to take your kids to look at books. Apparently they’ve decided to display nude posters in with all the others and witchcraft is on the end caps to give it prominence.

If you are a concerned citizen who cares about what is accessible to our youth please call and respectfully let them know this is NOT ok. Store number is 918.335.0831.

Recommending — The Path to Holiness by Jesse Jones

When I was growing up in Pasadena Texas, my parents met the Lord in a life changing way and were friends with the author of this book. They established a bible study for the children of the adults getting to know the Lord and studying the Word together.  We met in the ‘upper room’ at Jesse’s house and we studied so we could grow in the knowledge of Jesus and His Word.  I have a lot of love and a depth of gratitude to this author for helping guide me to the Lord at an early age.

I am so glad he has written this book. It is like none other that you have read — probably because Jesse is an engineer rather than a story teller. It is not a long book, but it is dense with scripture; some printed out for you and more references to take you as deep as you want to go with each chapter. I have suggested to Jesse that it would be perfect to provide online for small groups to use as guidance for bible studies. It is both foundational and for the believer who wants to go deeper. Isn’t the Word like that though?

I marvel that eternity may not be long enough to get to know our Creator!  It is like an expanding understanding whether you go outward or inward. Time and dimensions seem to expand and contract as needed as we move in Him. I marvel at both the complexity and the simplicity of the Gospel.

One other thing that is very special about this book is the way Jesse had it published and what he does with the proceeds.  He self published and any profits go to help a food bank in his community.  So read the book and bless your life and a local community as well.  What a roll model for us all!  Thank you Jesse for oh so many things.  May the Lord bless this effort in ways beyond your comprehension~

Here is a little more from the author and part of the back cover to the book:

“I chose this book title to reflect my understanding of what the Bible tells us about God’s plan and purpose in sending His only Son to earth in the form of a man,” Jones said. “We know that Jesus came to restore God’s chosen ones to favor through spiritual regeneration. The path He chose is marked with milestones described herein.”

Jones went on to say, “Several years ago I became aware of the fact that I did not really understand what Jesus did for me when He went to the cross and shed His blood. Questions arose in my mind about how His forgiveness could be made real to me personally. What would change within me when I actually received forgiveness, and what did Jesus expect of me thereafter? How could I become born again and, what do terms like the washing of regeneration and sanctification mean? I began looking for answers in the Bible.”

About the Author:  Jesse C. Jones retired from his position as Manager of the NASA White Sands Test Facility in December 1981, after spending 29 years as an Aerospace Engineer. After retirement He accepted a position as Instructor in the Mechanical Engineering Department, Texas Tech University (TTU), Lubbock, Texas, where he taught senior mechanical design courses and performed research. While at TTU Mr. Jones co-authored two textbooks, one of which was widely used as a senior mechanical design course textbook. Since his retirement from TTU Mr. Jones spends his time teaching Bible classes and studying and writing articles and books on biblical subjects.

Ask Questions – Share Answers – Say Thank You

Ask Questions

Most of the time I share things I find from others here but occasionally, I have something that I feel the need to share that I hope is timely for all. This message is actually a continuation of some things that I have been working on articulating that are a product of a lifetime of grassroots activism. Some of you are new to political activism this cycle and for you I hope that I can short circuit the learning curve. Some of you are partners with me in the venture we set forth on together many years ago in Texas and is ongoing now as we have connected with our counterparts around the country over the years. If you are grassroots doing things just because you care and we are not connected – please get in touch with me and share what you are doing and how we can best stay in touch and connected!

Open Letter to the Grassroots — of, for, and by us all!

Your Time is a Real Treasure

Today’s message is simple and practical and should be common sense! But I find that sometimes we get lost in the vision and forget the basics so I want to make sure to stress that to my friends who are in this journey with me. When you have doubts and concerns about a matter, go straight to the person/persons in question and ask questions.

Share Answers and Information

Matters of public record should be matters of openness and transparency; but first attempt to resolve the matter privately. You will be amazed how effective this process is and how many potential problems and wildfires can be cut off at the inception if followed! Biblically this guideline is found in Matthew 18.

Say Thank You!

Don’t forget to say thank you often along the way. And give credit where credit is due. Rarely if ever are we able to do things or accomplish great things all by ourselves. In fact truth be known never. I thank my God daily for the opportunity to participate in His creation as one of His. I serve Him and am grateful for the graciousness which He extends to me and oft challenged to be sure and do that for others.

So the real crux is how far we go in extending graciousness and exposing wickedness? I think the answer lies in when the wickedness is harming others; then it must be exposed. The challenge is to do so in such a way that always leaves the door open for the evil-doer to repent and turn to the Lord and turn from the wicked ways and toward righteousness.

Thank you all for helping me along the way.  I appreciate all the encouragement and correction and faithfulness of my friends and co-laborers in the efforts to restore the republic and share the gospel.

Let us share the truth and set the captives free!

Blessings,

Sandie
