Celebrating Mother’s Day

============================================

I know that the tradition of celebrating Mothers Day is ‘as we’ve always done it’…

But I think so called Christian Churches should retool the typical Mothers day celebration and change it to Mothers Pro Life Day. We should acknowledge and lift up those Mothers in the pews who gave life instead of death to their children.

This country, and yes “churches”, are hanging by a thread from the beginning of God’s judgements (Covid19?). ‘We the people’ have ignored or sidelined the holocaust of the systematic torture and killing of babies in the mother’s womb by the Democratic Party and the Blood Lust of all Abortion advocates, secularist and many of those of the so called Religious persuasion.

Somebodies gotta tell the truth!

P.S. I’m pretty sure Jesus is Pro Life.

Bible Stumbling Blocks by Jesse C. Jones — Chapter 8 is new — Find out if you are ‘Dead or Alive?’

1.Stumble-Cover-Final2Have you ever studied the bible and found things you just couldn’t reconcile with your mind and your Spirit?  I believe if we are honest, we all have.  My good friend and biblical mentor for many, many years — has put together a book for us to help us on some very complex concepts and perhaps take us all a little deeper in understanding too.  It is dense with scripture references if you are studying to teach others on topics this little book includes. Jesse C. Jones the author just added Chapter 8 and the entire book is available for free via Scribd.  You can read it there or download it and read it on your own computer or even print out whole chapters if you like.  We hope it will enrich your study of the bible and drive you to Him in prayer for understanding in your own spirit.  May you be richly blessed in your personal study and journey.  May you know Him and the fullness of His call and anointing  on your life.

The cover graphic was graciously provided by Rex Morache who was in California and now is in Texas.  You can see more of the wonderful work of Rex Morache on flicker here.

Publishing Books with Jesse C. Jones – The Path to Holiness

Many years ago, I met Jesse C. Jones and his lovely young family in Pasadena Texas.  I grew up there and went to school there…..

Years later we reconnected and I discovered that he was writing books.  His first was self published and is available in print via Amazon and other booksellers.

Jones Jesse - The Path to Holiness 51WTu1l88BL._SL500_AA300_My review of this his first book is online there and below here:

When I was growing up in Pasadena Texas, my parents met the Lord in a life changing way and were friends with the author of this book. They established a bible study for the children of the adults getting to know the Lord and studying the Word together. We met in the ‘upper room’ at Jesse’s house and we studied so we could grow in the knowledge of Jesus and His Word. I have a lot of love and a depth of gratitude to this author for helping guide me to the Lord at an early age.

I am so glad he has written this book. It is like none other that you have read — probably because Jesse is an engineer rather than a story teller. It is not a long book, but it is dense with scripture; some printed out for you and more references to take you as deep as you want to go with each chapter. I have suggested to Jesse that it would be perfect to provide online for small groups to use as guidance for bible studies. It is both foundational and for the believer who wants to go deeper. Isn’t the Word like that though?

I marvel that eternity may not be long enough to get to know our Creator! It is like an expanding understanding whether you go outward or inward. Time and dimensions seem to expand and contract as needed as we move in Him. I marvel at both the complexity and the simplicity of the Gospel.

One other thing that is very special about this book is the way Jesse had it published and what he does with the proceeds. He self published and any profits go to help a food bank in his community. So read the book and bless your life and a local community as well. What a roll model for us all! Thank you Jesse for oh so many things. May the Lord bless this effort in ways beyond your comprehension~

This author has more books available online via my Scribd account there (scrosnoe). They are free and downloadable and sharable too! One of she latest ones is discussed here […] and it talks about one of the bible teachers sent to this author in the early days of his spiritual development. My family was on that journey with him so it is a very precious story to me.

Jesse Jones Books Available Master 2015

Since then and in the past couple of years, Jesse has written a series of books available online and free to download.  We have been honored to have Rex Morache, a gifted graphic artist, provide many of the covers — each one special and timely.

I hope to be doing a series of articles on these books but for now if you want to explore on your own, here is the link to all of them available on scribd >>>.

You can read them online and/or download and print.  I believe they would make good study guides for home bible study groups because they are so dense with scripture references.  You decide what works best for you and share freely as we have here.

It has been an honor to help make this work available to all!

Happy Father’s Day Thoughts

Taking a little trip down memory lane, I did this post on facebook last night:

Facebook post on Father's Day June 16 2013

And then I began thinking about my Heavenly Father — you know the One Who Made us all?!

Father's Day Post

Father’s Day is not just about your earthly dad.  I am pausing to say thanks to my heavenly Father for all His tender loving care along the Way!  I am grateful especially for His patience, mercies, healing touches and gentle nudges at just the right time.  He does things in a way so that I can see and hear and understand a little more about Him each time!  The unfolding revelation and the comfort of His presence is beyond compare and an eternal promise.

I have a lot to be thankful for!

Blessings,

Sandie

The Revelation of Jesus Christ

(As Recorded by the Beloved Disciple John)

 Jesse C. Jones

In the mid-1990’s when my wife was in the last stages of Alzheimer’s disease, I got into the habit spending the late hours of the day praying and talking to God.  It was during this time that I began to sense God urging me to do something that I would never have considered doing, and certainly did not feel qualified to do under any circumstance: He continually persisted in my writing an exposition on the seven churches of the book of Revelation.  Every night it was the same: He would bring it up, and I would argue that I was not qualified to undertake writing on the Bible, nor did I have the slightest insight regarding the seven churches.  This went on for some time, and eventually I came across a book that had been written on the seven churches of Revelation.  I thought that this was my “Aha” moment, and I immediately brought it to God’s attention, thinking that I was off the hook.  No such luck, for God (as I have learned) always has a Plan B that is better, and usually bigger, in mind, and that’s when He hit me with probably what He had in mind all along: writing a commentary on the entire book of Revelation.  This hit me like a ton of bricks: I had felt unqualified to write on the seven churches, now I was confronted with something so overwhelming there was no question about my inadequacy.  Undoubtedly, that is where He wanted me to be all the time: totally dependent on Him for every idea, concept and interpretation that I put to paper (or computer screen in this case).

So I began to study, search and write, and the words seemed to keep coming.  This was something totally new to me.  I had co-authored a couple of technical books in my last job as a teacher, but this was different.  Here I was dealing with subjects for which I could not reach down within to draw up understanding: I had to depend totally on Him.

I do not want to leave readers with the impression that everything in this book is right out of God’s mouth.  What I hope is contained therein is what God gave, processed through an ordinary layman’s mind and body, and therefore susceptible to some misunderstanding.  Several years ago a friend asked me why I thought God would give me knowledge that He had not given other men.  My answer was that God is no respecter of persons (Ac. 10:34), He gives knowledge to those who have the greatest need and desire, with no consideration of status or position in the world.  In fact, He seems to favor the least capable or honorable (1 Co. 12:22-24).

This work can be downloaded, in part or whole.

My hope is that God will use this to change lives.
