Taking our Cities Back

UNITE TO IGNITE THE FIRE – work in teams whenever and wherever possible!

Holy Ghost Set This World on Fire cropped copy
We want to cover our cities in prayer as the Lord leads each one of us. This may include mapping, decreeing and declaring, walk abouts, driving cars praying, setting aside a set time to pray, fasting, walking neighborhoods, communion, using your prayer language, incorporating teams to pray with you at strategic points in your cities and neighborhoods. Be led of the Lord. Let the Lord unveil and reveal His chosen strategies for your city. God may require different strategies for different cities. As you pray for your city, please add your country.

We want everyone covered in prayer. Let’s bless each person on this watch and the cities and countries they are standing in the gap for. Pray for your borders and the gates of cities. Pray for the border of the USA and each of your Countries. Pray that God will give us back the Keys to our cities.

Some Simple Reminders:
Pull out your spiritual toolbox and lets get those tools ready. Some of them might be a little rusty.

1. Cover yourself, your home and families in the Blood.
2. Read the Word Daily
3. Set aside a specific time to pray.
4. Seek the Lord.
5. Stand in Faith and Believe.
6. Take Communion
7. Use your Prayer Language
8. Watch your eye gate and ear gates, especially, during this time.
9. Examine yourself and your heart daily
10. Stay close to the Lord during this time.
11. Speak those things which be not as tho they were. There is power of life and death in the tongue.
12. Daily journal and share.
13. Put on and keep on the Full Armor of God.
14. Blow the Shofar — N S E W.
15. Anoint yourself daily
16. Speak out the Lord’s Prayer
17. Repent
18. Be in expectation
19. Operate out of your position, not your condition.

Alright Prayer Warriors:  Let’s get ready to rock and roll our cities, countries and territories.

His Breath is the Wind to my Sails

His breath is wind to my sails via Patty Finney Compton on fb

A friend of mine on facebook, Patti Finney Compton, shares the most glorious pictures there. She opens her heart and always has a word of encouragement for those who respond to her. This one caught my eye recently and I asked and received her permission to share.  Her pictures seem to penetrate the soul and lift the spirit.  I think that is because she prays over them and God leads her to them and guides her hand as she shares them!  Thank you Patti for being a faithful handmaiden!

Many years ago as I was agonizing about the call of the Lord upon my life, I heard very clearly the words, “I will be your rear guard.”  It brought immediate peace to the matter and has been an unfolding revelation to me as well as to those who walk with me.  When you hear something from the Lord like that you then begin to see it unfold in scripture and I learned that He is not only my rearguard, but He goes before me to prepare the way.

Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.Isaiah 58:8

For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward.  Isaiah 52:12

He is my all in all.  My rock, my sword, my shield.  My wheel in the middle of the wheel.

“He’s My Rock, My Sword, My Shield”

Randy Travis Lyrics

He’s my rock, my sword, my shield
He’s my wheel in the middle of the field
He’s the lily of the valley
He’s the bright and morning star
Makes no difference what you say
I’m goin’ on my knees and pray
I’m gonna wait right here for Jesus
Till he comes.

The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.  Ezekiel 1:16

In Him we live and move and have our being.

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Acts 17:28

He is the wind in my sails and I am bathed in the water of His word.  My boat goes where He leads as He fills my sails.

Many times as I pray over the city I live in, I actually physically blow my breath and release His Spirit out of my being.   When we engage in prayer actively with body, soul, and spirit — the mind does not always even know what it is about.  I am happy to be with Him in the process.  Sailing on the waters with His Spirit to fill my sails and guide my boat.  I trust Him and you can too!
