Signs of the Times that Concern Me & Encourage Me — So Watch and Be Ready!

Background:  I believe in Jesus AND I think the Old Testament is as valid as the New Testament.   All of the Word was given to guide us to our Heavenly Home through the redemptive work of Jesus on the cross.  I believe that Jesus is coming back and there are signs in the heavens and on the planet about the timing of his return.  The good news is He is coming back.  The bad news is it could get very rough here before His return.  So be ready and seek Him while He may be found.  This post will update you on Signs in the Heavenlies, Tremors on the Earth, and Israel and the Restoration of the Temple, and the Blood of Jesus on the Mercy Seat.

Signs in the Heavenlies

Where we are now:  It is 2014 and just up ahead is the first of four blood moons in sync with biblical feast days.  See my earlier post on topic with a video; be sure to read the comments for more links and information.  I recommend this video to all believers, seekers of truth, and all who are even remotely interested in the signs of the times.

Tremors on the Earth

In Wyoming there is apparently increased seismic activity that is not being widely reported.  The reports are that the animals are leaving Yellowstone.  Here is one such report with videos http://rt.com/usa/epoch-bison-yellowstone-volcano-909/ 

We are experiencing increased seismic activity and earthquakes in Oklahoma possibly as a result.  They are increasing in frequency and intensity.  The epicenter appears to be near OKC.

Israel and the Restoration of the Temple & The Blood of Jesus on the Mercy Seat

And now for the strangest but possibly most significant report of all.  I am still working on verifying this story, but here it is in brief and you all can help me do the research.  Apparently a man named Ron Wyatt discovered the Ark of the Covenant hidden in caves in the area of Jerusalem beneath the actual crucifixion site of Jesus.  He found on the Mercy Seat some of the dried blood that spilled from our Lord’s side that day and as you will remember there was an earthquake and the temple veil was rent from top to bottom.  Apparently some of that blood made its way into the earth and down into the cave and landed on the Mercy Seat.  Now does that sound like something God would do and reveal His hand in the matter to you?

Anyway, Ron Wyatt had the blood analyzed and here is the story in his own words.

I hope to post more on this topic as time permits but I will simply add that Ron Wyatt died in 1999 and apparently this story has remained hidden for a reason.  He told the Israelis where the ark of the covenant was located and they sealed it up for now, but know where to go when the temple rebuilders are ready for it.  The family has kept the story pretty quiet until now because of their particular end time philosophy and not wanting to tell the story until the mark of the beast was codified.  They believe it was codified with Obamacare and is being implemented now and it is time to tell the story if I interpret the things I have read correctly.  Anyway this man seems like a bit of a cross between Indiana Jones and an itinerant preacher of a day gone by.  Seems like just the type of fellow YAHWEH would use to confound the academics in our day and age!  See what you think and of course…

Restoring fiscal responsibility to Washington is one of the most urgent matters facing our nation. We must start living within our means and on a budget.  That is why I voted in favor of the conservative budget offered by Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin that would balance in ten years. Moving toward a point where federal spending does not exceed federal revenue will spur economic growth and real job creation. Such a plan is an immeasurable improvement over our current path of ever increasing debt and economic decline.

Washington, specifically the United States Senate, has not done its job of passing a budget for the last four years, so the federal government is forced to operate on a series of so-called “Continuing Resolutions” (CR) instead.  A CR keeps the government running but, just as the name implies, continues “spending as usual” rather than providing a path to fiscal responsibility. I saw the latest CR as the last, best opportunity to stop the wasteful and increasingly unpopular ObamaCare program in its tracks before it is actually imposed. No one in the House fought harder than me to stop ObamaCare.  I voted against the CR since it included full funding to implement ObamaCare, and moving forward I will work to defund, dismantle, and repeal ObamaCare at every opportunity.

Terminate the OHIET Letters and Calls Needed for Monday Meeting!

Please see OK-SAFE post here for more details and background to this post.  Here are the phone numbers included there and below that you will find a couple of emails for examples as needed.  Please note that in general calls are better than emails because if there are enough of them they generate an office ‘buzz’ at the capitol, but you do whatever makes sense for you and your time schedules.

I commend Senator Dahm for leading the way on this matter and I want my Senator to know of my stance on the matter as well.  I believe the people of this state have made their position abundantly clear.  It is important that our leaders do things to make sure we follow in practice what has been clearly spelled out in our founding documents and at the ballot box as well.

SB 219 by Dahm/Moore is scheduled to be heard in Health and Human Services on Monday, 2/11/13.This bill would cause the OHIET (Oklahoma Health Information Exchange Trust) to cease to be in effect as of Jan. 1, 2014.   . I am asking that you please vote YES on SB 219. […T]his entity is using the SHIECAP federal grant money to implement the technological infrastructure necessary for what the public calls “ObamaCare” to work in this state.  This means the ability to transmit patient’s electronic health records intrastate and interstate.  . This infrastructure is set up to eventually connect with the payers system (insurance exchange), completing the connections between patient, provider and payer.  (This is the crux of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and it’s predecessor the Stimulus bill.) . The people of Oklahoma clearly objected to “ObamaCare” with the passage of SQ 756 in 2010; these people believed they were sending a clear message – NO to this type of health care “reform.” SB 219’s amendatory language: G. The provisions of this section shall cease to be in effect on January 1, 2014. As of such date, the State Department of Health shall fulfill the purpose set forth in subparagraph a of paragraph 2 of subsection B of this section with respect to grants awarded prior to the effective date of this act, but no further grants shall be accepted for such purpose, nor shall any further action be taken with respect to the purpose set forth in subparagraph b of paragraph 2 of subsection B of this section. ….
