The 2016 Election: A Victory for Middle American Values?

The 2016 Election: A Victory for Middle American Values?
by Jenni White
county-by-county-vote-nationallyThe election is over. Trump has won. Celebrities are running for the hills, rioting and protests have broken out in major population centers across the country, and I heard from a friend watching, that a talking head at Good Morning America (the Thursday after the election) felt the need to explain the vote as a reality not a nightmare.

Trump, trumped Clinton – there’s no way around that. With the media projecting Hilary as the winner most of last year and throughout the night – even after he took Florida – it was clear by Wednesday morning that the media, liberal America and the celebrity class were shocked beyond reason at the result of this election. I’m not surprised – their total inability to understand the thought processes and lives of middle America represent a majority of reasons for the outcome of this election.

Entertainment and news celebrities live in crystal bubbles surrounded by drooling fans, where they rock swag bags, red carpets and all the free crap designers and beauty companies can throw at them to garner their endorsements. If their movies stink or their news shows can’t make it on cable for even a season, it matters not, they’ll shuffle off to another show created to entertain the masses, dutifully do their stand up-sit down-line recitation or read off their prompter and go home to their glorious three bed three, three bath, three and a half million dollar vintage ranch-style house in the Hollywood hills – or their overpriced Manhattan flat – to spend 15 minutes with their Armani-clad tykes before they trundle off across hand-scraped floors rescued from a 300 year old farm house live-in nanny in tow, housekeeper not far behind warning of their impending dinner cooked by the celebrity chef who will be along shortly.

This isn’t middle America by even the broadest stretch of the imagination.

We here in middle America get up in the morning and work all day – sometimes two jobs to make ends meet – only to watch our health care costs eat up our paychecks, yet we can’t even go to the doctor if we need one because we can’t afford the deductibles for the policies we have because we’re expected to pay the healthcare costs for others who can’t or won’t shoulder the burden themselves.

Natural Law as a Restraint Against Tyranny

Video with Judge Andrew P. Napolitano recorded at the Mises Circle in Costa Mesa, California, 8 November 2014. This seminar examined the institutions of a stateless society and explored topics such as private defense, private police, privately produced money, the role of markets, and how stateless legal systems would work. This particular video in the series is about 22 minutes long and has over 47k viewers at time of posting.

Video shows Judge Napolitano at his best on natural rights. He stresses that you cannot take away natural rights with legislation even if you try because they do not come from government at all. He gives an interesting brief history lesson and then apples the concept to where we are today. He ends with a huge challenge to this generation and the next in a powerful prediction. Please take time to watch this. I promise you will be glad you did. Even if you already know these things, it will help you articulate the ideas to others and we all must do that!

Hastings Standards Not Family Friendly Anymore – Bartians Beware!

Hastings XXX entertainment

Our local Hastings has dropped the ball. It is no longer a safe place to take your kids to look at books. Apparently they’ve decided to display nude posters in with all the others and witchcraft is on the end caps to give it prominence.

If you are a concerned citizen who cares about what is accessible to our youth please call and respectfully let them know this is NOT ok. Store number is 918.335.0831.

Special thanks to Joy Molina Collins for the heads up and photo.  If you get a response you would like to share with others, please do so in the comments here or in our Washington County Republican Grassroots Group on facebook here >>>

The Conservative Champion in Oklahoma for US Senate is Randy Brogdon

Primary Elections Tweet

a recent tweet from a post on facebook below:

Primary Elections are about electing the best person for the office. In the general you can pick the lesser of two bad choices if you don’t get someone who walks the talk through the primary options… Happy campaigning out there! Don’t forget to have fun and make friends while you are on the campaign trail. ‪#‎R3s‬ ‪#‎4life‬ ‪#‎4liberty‬

So everyone is a conservative now.  And oddly enough everyone is for liberty now.  Hmmmm.  Who are the real champions?  They are the ones who were there before it was cool.  Leading the way.  Standing on principle.

A Life Dream Begins to Come to Pass

On Saturday, April 14th, at our District 01 Republican Convention in Tulsa, Amanda Teegarden graciously placed my  name in nomination for Republican National Delegate.  I am pleased to report that I received an alternate delegate slot and I will go to Tampa Florida in August.  I will be asking the state convention in May to upgrade my status to delegate and we will see if that can yet occur.  I would appreciate your continued prayers on the matter.

Thank you Amanda Teegarden for nominating me!

Because of the time allotted to all the candidates to speak and because of my wanting the speech to NOT be read,  here is what was ‘planned’ but I cannot tell you what was actually said.  If I get a video link, I will attach it later to this post for you:

I am Sandra Crosnoe. I am from Washington County. I appreciate the opportunity to speak to you today.

I appreciate you being here today to make decisions for our district and for our party. I know you sacrifice time from your family with every moment you spend on political matters. I appreciate that sacrifice.

I know because I have served with many of you on committees and on various projects. I have served as a Republican precinct chair for over 30 years, first in Texas and more recently since I came to Oklahoma in 2005.

You may be aware of my work online with blogs and communication networks, with social networking, with organizing rallies and teaparties, with speaking and mentoring and training in person and via Skype.

Through it all, I have encouraged people to get involved with their local Republican party, serve in volunteer roles, and talk to their representatives in order to really make a difference.

You did and you have and you are. You are here today. Some of you are serving in office and others are now running for office. We have more work to do together!

What draws us together as Republicans are our core principles and our shared values:

We are for limited constitutional government and for free markets and yes, a lot less government.

We support the second amendment — the right to keep and bear arms.

And yes we are prolife — because every life is precious and a gift from God!

I know that together we must hold our leaders and ourselves accountable to these principles. I know that we are a party that believes in the rule of law AND promotes grassroots activism. I believe that every voice is important. I will work to make sure that things are done according to the rules. I will insist on openness and fairness to make sure that everyone has a chance to participate. If you send me, I will go. I will continue my work to get our message of Life and Liberty out across the Land. This election is about more than the just the presidency. It is about promoting people of principle who will make a difference. Together we will Restore the Republic so that future generations may live free and prosper in this great Nation.

I pray God’s blessings on this District, this great state of Oklahoma and this Nation.

I would appreciate your vote for Republican National Delegate!
