David Reagan opened with a look at his church sign collection through the years – unbelievable and funny too!  This session was on “End Time Prophecies of Jesus primarily from Matthew 24 but also Matthew 11: 20-23 and three cities gone today (Capernaum, Bethsaida, and Chorazin)

Signs:

1)  the sign of cults (false Christs and false prophets)

wolves in sheeps clothing gnostics and Judiasers

2) the sign of world politics (wars and rumors of wars)

violence between nations and within nations

3) natural disasters (famines and earthquakes and famines and plagues and signs from heaven – roaring of the sea or tsunamis)

THESE THINGS ARE THE BEGINNINGS OF BIRTH PANGS — increase in frequency and intensity

4) Christian persecution (hindu and muslim areas especially)

Nigeria a Christian was recently elected and violence has erupted

5) Apostasy in the church

6) The breakdown of society

just as it was in the days of Noah (Matthew 24: 37) characterized by immorality and violence

Hollywood influence — moral polluter of planet earth

7) Preaching of the gospel – will be preached in the whole world (translations of the Bible / modern technology) — The Jesus Movie!

Jesus is returning soon.  We are living on borrowed time.  He is either your blessed hope or your holy terror.  Be Ready!  Keep looking up~

Thomas Sharp on Revelation 12 on the war in heaven.  See also Matthew 24 where Jesus talks about this and great deception surrounding the events as they unfold. Some discussion on timing of the Rapture.

Satan also called the shining one, the deceiver, the whisperer, the enchanter.  In Revelation 12 we see the dragon was cast out of heaven and out into the earth.  His angels were cast out with him.

King of Tyrus motivated by the wickedness of the evil one.

The battle of the ages is continuing now on earth going on since the beginning of time and will increase in intensity at the end of the age.  We need to understand the battle to know how to properly engage.

Evolution humanizes God and deifies man; the war of the ages continues!

Motive for Lucifer’s rebellion:

1)  To overthrow the absolute authority accrued to God as the result of His creatorship and direct His worship to another

2) To deconstruct the authority of the word of God

3) To redirect worship belonging to God to himself

Can this sinister and evil motive be properly called Evolutionism?  Yes it can!
