daniels-insetSpeaker:  Julie Daniels

Julie Daniels is a candidate for Oklahoma Senate Seat District 29. Senator John Ford currently occupies this seat but is termed out. Julie is also a former Mayor of Bartlesville.  Many of you know her well, but we will all learn more about Julie Daniels and her thoughts on issues facing our state, county and city. We will have plenty of time for Q&A and then time for prayer at the end.

Please come join in the discussion. You will enjoy getting to know Julie and hear from her and ask questions too!
We will hopefully get an update on her campaign as well.

Hope to see you next Tuesday night!

Scripture to consider: Matthew 6:10

Your kingdom come,

your will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

I am suggesting we Pray Matthew 6:10 over our city replacing the word “earth” with Bartlesville —  “Your kingdom come, your will be done, in Bartlesville as it is in heaven”.
Bring your questions & friends and make plans to attend!

Scripture to consider: Deuteronomy 5: 26-29

26 For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

27 Go thou near, and hear all that the Lord our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the Lord our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it.

28 And the Lord heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the Lord said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken.

29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

Bring your questions & friends and make plans to attend!  Call me if you have additional questions.

Hastings Standards Not Family Friendly Anymore – Bartians Beware!

Hastings XXX entertainment

Our local Hastings has dropped the ball. It is no longer a safe place to take your kids to look at books. Apparently they’ve decided to display nude posters in with all the others and witchcraft is on the end caps to give it prominence.

If you are a concerned citizen who cares about what is accessible to our youth please call and respectfully let them know this is NOT ok. Store number is 918.335.0831.

Special thanks to Joy Molina Collins for the heads up and photo.  If you get a response you would like to share with others, please do so in the comments here or in our Washington County Republican Grassroots Group on facebook here >>>

Republican Primary Election is June 24th – Do You Know Who is on the Ballot?

Sample Ballot for District 10 June 24th

And now the question is – Do You Know these People?

Washington County is partly in House District 10 and partly in District 11.  This particular ballot is for District 11.  If you are in District 10 you need to be aware of the open seat being vacated by Steve Martin for which Randy Barnett is running.  He will be one of the featured speakers at Sooner Park this weekend.  (h/t Joy Molina Collins for the sample ballot photo and so much more!)

Some of the brightest and the best will be speaking here in Bartlesville this weekend.

* Sooner Park is located on South corner of Madison & Tuxedo — just 1 mile East of Hwy 75 in Bartlesville Oklahoma.

To plug in with the various campaigns:

Randy Barnett for HD10

Randy Brogdon for US Senator

Dax Ewbank for Governor of Oklahoma

Now this is a flyer I am playing with and it is not endorsed by any candidate so if you like it and can make some version of it work in your area, please feel free to do so.  Candidates do not like to have their campaigns linked and I understand that, but I am only going to hand out so many flyers and to so many people, so mine are going to have my favorites OK?!  Make your own, walk the talk, make friends, and have fun along the way….

Don’t ‘FOOL’ Me Bro! New taxes aren’t the ONLY way!

Heads up my Tulsa County Friends — #R3s #4fiscalsanity #justsayno

H/T to Joy Molina Collins (Bartlesville) for the graphics!

Just Ronda

Dont fool me Bro

Another tax?  NO WAY!  When will the madness end?  Every time there is a perceived need (aka want), the city or county (this time) comes after the hard working taxpayer for more of their hard earned money instead of finding other ways to pay for the problem.  It’s time to get government out of our pockets!

While most people would agree that there are needs with the juvenile justice center and the jail that need to be met, it’s the manner in which those needs are met that we have the most disagreement.

For some unknown reason, Tulsa loves to ‘bond’ the money they spend which results in millions of tax dollars being wasted on bonding fees and interest.  The better way to accomplish building projects is by using a ‘pay-as-you-go’ plan, with no bonding fees and no interest, which means we get something to show for our hard earned…
