A Thanksgiving Prayer and a Blessing from My House to Yours!

ThanksgivingPrayer

God bless you p1I love Thanksgiving as a holiday and a time to be with family and friends. What if on this day you spent one where there were no prayers offered, no thanks to God for his bountiful blessings upon us and our families, and no mention of His Son Jesus who left His heavenly estate to come and rescue us?

In the midst of all the preparations, let us all try to remember what is really important. Remember to the best of your ability to comprehend what love and grace and humility and compassion He modeled as an example to us all!

This year as I send greetings to you and your household, this is my simple reminder to make conscious efforts to keep Him as the center of all your holidays. Take some time to read scripture aloud and pray together with your gathering.

Come to Him with gladness and Thanksgiving and take time to remember all that He has done for you throughout the year.

Look to Him for answers to problems big and small.

May His love p2

Spend time in prayer and praise because it is invigorating and life changing for you and a sweet savor to Him as our prayers are instantly with Him in the throne room.Thank Him for life and sustenance daily. Serve Him with joy and gladness.  Love Him with all of your heart. May our lives be a testimony to each other of this way of living and loving Him and each other too.

May you experience a very special warmth as you serve and know the delight of His smile and the touch of His covering and the breath of the Holy Spirit moving on your behalf in delightful and unanticipated ways!

And His light p3

Blessings from my house to yours,
Sandie
