A Grand Gala & Real Substance too!

Yes it was a grand gala!

DC has a new team in town.

The federal zone and the rest of the nation are in the process of watching the transition of power occur.  I’ve always loved the balls and the gowns but you always learn by watching people in action.  The Trumps and the Pence family are gracious to all they encounter.  So here are a few shots from the balls and then on to the meat of the day.  Oh yes and Mike Pence and his wife can dance!  The white gown on the far left second pic had the most amazing full skirt and shimmered brilliantly when she moved.  Melanie’s gown was very unique and sculpted perfectly for her.  Ivanka’s gown was bejeweled and very lovely too.  Mrs. Pence’s gown of royal blue was gorgeous as well and the neckline simply elegant.  They were all very special and individually styled.

The cake was six plus layers and they cut it very military style with a saber sword.  Hope it was as good as it looked!

Now onto the meat of the day. Here is what Trump said so that you know and don’ t have to rely on fake news and media spin.

Inauguration speech in total:

Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, fellow Americans, and people of the world: thank you.

We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our people.

Together, we will determine the course of America and the world for years to come. We will face challenges. We will confront hardships. But we will get the job done. Every four years, we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly and peaceful transfer of power, and we are grateful to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid throughout this transition. They have been magnificent.

Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today we are not merely transferring power from one Administration to another, or from one party to another – but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the American People.

For too long, a small group in our nation’s Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost.  Washington flourished – but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered – but the jobs left, and the factories closed.  The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation’s Capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.

That all changes – starting right here, and right now, because this moment is your moment: it belongs to you! It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America. This is your day. This is your celebration. And this, the United States of America, is your country.

What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people. January 20th 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again.
The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.

Everyone is listening to you now. You came by the tens of millions to become part of a historic movement the likes of which the world has never seen before. At the center of this movement is a crucial conviction: that a nation exists to serve its citizens.

Americans want great schools for their children, safe neighborhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves.  These are the just and reasonable demands of a righteous public. But for too many of our citizens, a different reality exists: Mothers and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities; rusted-out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation; an education system, flush with cash, but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of knowledge; and the crime and gangs and drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed our country of so much unrealized potential.

This American carnage stops RIGHT HERE and stops RIGHT NOW. We are one nation – and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams; and their success will be our success. We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny.

The oath of office I take today is an oath of allegiance to all Americans. For many decades, we’ve enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry;  Subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military; We’ve defended other nation’s borders while refusing to defend our own;  And spent trillions of dollars overseas while America’s infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay.

We’ve made other countries rich while the wealth, strength, and confidence of our country has disappeared over the horizon.  One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores, with not even a thought about the millions upon millions of American workers left behind.

The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed across the entire world.  But that is the past. And now we are looking only to the future.

We assembled here today are issuing a new decree to be heard in every city, in every foreign capital, and in every hall of power.  From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land.

From this moment on, it’s going to be America First. Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs, will be made to benefit American workers and American families. We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies, and destroying our jobs. Protection will lead to great prosperity and strength.

I will fight for you with every breath in my body – and I will never, ever let you down.  America will start winning again, winning like never before. We will bring back our jobs. We will bring back our borders. We will bring back our wealth. And we will bring back our dreams.

We will build new roads, and highways, and bridges, and airports, and tunnels, and railways all across our wonderful nation.  We will get our people off of welfare and back to work – rebuilding our country with American hands and American labor.  We will follow two simple rules: Buy American and Hire American.

We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world – but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first.

We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to follow.

We will reinforce old alliances and form new ones – and unite the civilized world against Radical Islamic Terrorism, which we will eradicate completely from the face of the Earth.

At the bedrock of our politics will be a total allegiance to the United States of America, and through our loyalty to our country, we will rediscover our loyalty to each other.  When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice.

The Bible tells us, “how good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.”
We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity. When America is united, America is totally unstoppable. There should be no fear – we are protected, and we will always be protected.

We will be protected by the great men and women of our military and law enforcement and, most importantly, we are protected by God.

Finally, we must think big and dream even bigger. In America, we understand that a nation is only living as long as it is striving.  We will no longer accept politicians who are all talk and no action – constantly complaining but never doing anything about it.

The time for empty talk is over. Now arrives the hour of action.

Do not let anyone tell you it cannot be done. No challenge can match the heart and fight and spirit of America.

We will not fail. Our country will thrive and prosper again. We stand at the birth of a new millennium, ready to unlock the mysteries of space, to free the Earth from the miseries of disease, and to harness the energies, industries and technologies of tomorrow.

A new national pride will stir our souls, lift our sights, and heal our divisions. It is time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget: that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American Flag. And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the windswept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky, they fill their heart with the same dreams, and they are infused with the breath of life by the same almighty Creator.

So to all Americans, in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, and from ocean to ocean, hear these words: You will never be ignored again. Your voice, your hopes, and your dreams, will define our American destiny. And your courage and goodness and love will forever guide us along the way.

Together, We Will Make America Strong Again. We Will Make America Wealthy Again.

We Will Make America Proud Again.

We Will Make America Safe Again….

and Yes, Together, We Will Make America Great Again. Thank you, God Bless You, And God Bless America.

Donald J. Trump
45th President of the United States

Yes, there was real sustance!

However, the substance of the day lies elsewhere.  It was a good start indeed. Here is what he actually implemented on inauguration day.

In his first hours as president Friday, Donald Trump ordered federal agencies to “ease the burden” of ObamaCare while his chief of staff directed an immediate regulatory freeze.

Trump was joined in the Oval Office by Vice President Mike Pence, Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and other top advisers as he signed the executive order on former President Barack Obama’s signature health law, which Trump opposed throughout his campaign.

The order, which noted that Trump intends to seek the law’s “prompt repeal,” directs agencies to “minimize the unwarranted economic and regulatory burdens [of ObamaCare] and prepare to afford the States more flexibility and control to create a more free and open healthcare market.” It also tells agencies to waive, defer or delay imposing any ObamaCare provisions that impose fiscal penalties on states, health care providers, families or individuals.

Trump’s order also ordered agency heads to “encourage the development of a free and open market in interstate commerce for the offering of healthcare services and health insurance,” a key component of Republicans’ ObamaCare replacement plan.  Continue reading and see a video of event here

A good start indeed!  I love it when I hear the word freeze regarding new regulations; now if we could just get that word applied to spending and hiring!

A Life Dream Begins to Come to Pass

On Saturday, April 14th, at our District 01 Republican Convention in Tulsa, Amanda Teegarden graciously placed my  name in nomination for Republican National Delegate.  I am pleased to report that I received an alternate delegate slot and I will go to Tampa Florida in August.  I will be asking the state convention in May to upgrade my status to delegate and we will see if that can yet occur.  I would appreciate your continued prayers on the matter.

Thank you Amanda Teegarden for nominating me!

Click on pic for full flyer and pdf version online

Because of the time allotted to all the candidates to speak and because of my wanting the speech to NOT be read,  here is what was ‘planned’ but I cannot tell you what was actually said.  If I get a video link, I will attach it later to this post for you:

I am Sandra Crosnoe. I am from Washington County. I appreciate the opportunity to speak to you today.

I appreciate you being here today to make decisions for our district and for our party. I know you sacrifice time from your family with every moment you spend on political matters. I appreciate that sacrifice.

I know because I have served with many of you on committees and on various projects. I have served as a Republican precinct chair for over 30 years, first in Texas and more recently since I came to Oklahoma in 2005.

You may be aware of my work online with blogs and communication networks, with social networking, with organizing rallies and teaparties, with speaking and mentoring and training in person and via Skype.

Through it all, I have encouraged people to get involved with their local Republican party, serve in volunteer roles, and talk to their representatives in order to really make a difference.

You did and you have and you are. You are here today. Some of you are serving in office and others are now running for office. We have more work to do together!

What draws us together as Republicans are our core principles and our shared values:

We are for limited constitutional government and for free markets and yes, a lot less government.

We support the second amendment — the right to keep and bear arms.

And yes we are prolife — because every life is precious and a gift from God!

I know that together we must hold our leaders and ourselves accountable to these principles. I know that we are a party that believes in the rule of law AND promotes grassroots activism. I believe that every voice is important. I will work to make sure that things are done according to the rules. I will insist on openness and fairness to make sure that everyone has a chance to participate. If you send me, I will go. I will continue my work to get our message of Life and Liberty out across the Land. This election is about more than the just the presidency. It is about promoting people of principle who will make a difference. Together we will Restore the Republic so that future generations may live free and prosper in this great Nation.

I pray God’s blessings on this District, this great state of Oklahoma and this Nation.

I would appreciate your vote for Republican National Delegate!

My Letter to the Editor on Reforming Health Care Reform — Would you write one too?

Here’s a copy of my letter to the Bartlesville Examiner tonight on the topic of Health Care Reform (aka ObamaCare).  Perhaps you could write a letter of your own to your local paper.

A good friend of mine said recently; “The state of Oklahoma is busy implementing the provisions of  ‘Obama Care’, while appearing to oppose ‘Obama Care’.  Must be politics as usual in Oklahoma.”

Now’s the time. The legislative session starts soon – on the first Monday of February  – and the legislators are busy preparing their bill requests for 2012.

We need to remove the vital elements that have laid the groundwork for single-provider / single-payer ‘universal health care’ in Oklahoma. That means TERMINATING the OHIET Trust (or violation of free enterprise and privacy – a veritable cartel, if you will), return all federal grants for health insurance exchanges, and get out of the Medicaid program.  Medicaid (for low income) is a VOLUNTARY program which is being massively expanded to implement the health care law. Getting Oklahoma out of Medicaid is the only way out of implementing the law. Let’s return to fiscal sanity in Oklahoma please!  Oh and shhhhh don’t tell anyone but this would contribute significantly to fixing such problems as exploding debt and illegal immigration.

Bartlesville Examiner

Letter to the Editor regarding Reforming Health Care Reform

In November 2010, Oklahomans said “Yes” by 64% to a provision in the State Constitution which allows citizens to not “participate” in a health care system.  Oklahomans made a strong statement saying they were opposed to government-run healthcare and support free-market solutions. The State Legislature passed SB 1373, which established the Oklahoma Health Information Exchange Trust (OHIET), despite the wishes of the people.  OHIET can align Oklahoma’s health care system to the federal government’s standards and requirements; link to a national network and insurance programs; collect and share our personal medical data; and is “interopable” with global systems.  This type of health care system is doing an “end-run” around liberty, privacy and virtually any need for search warrants.

We need to remove the vital elements that have laid the groundwork for a single-payer health care system in Oklahoma. That means TERMINATING the OHIET, return all federal grants for health insurance exchanges, and get out of the Medicaid program.  Medicaid (for low income) is a VOLUNTARY program which is being massively expanded to implement the health care law. Opting out of Medicaid and terminating OHiET is the only way out. Let’s return to fiscal sanity in Oklahoma please!  Oh and shhhhh don’t tell anyone but this would contribute significantly to fixing such problems as exploding debt and illegal immigration.

Time is short. Oklahomans need to call their legislators and demand they terminate this trust before all personal liberty and privacy is eliminated.

For Life and Liberty,

Sandra Crosnoe

OK-SAFE Says Repent and Stop Health Care Reform Legislation and Tells Reps Why!

Health Care Reform —

IT, Security, Privacy Issues/Concerns

In the beginning of the presentation, Amanda made the critical point,

“He did not give man dominion over man….”

The powerpoint presentation is available on scribd for reference and for sharing in it’s entirety. There is a link below and then ideally the presentation should be embedded here. If not refresh your screen and if it is still not showing as embedded, click on the link to see the power point presentation via scribd’s website.

OK-SAFE, Inc. PPT – Joint Committee on Health Care Reform Law 11-03-11

The research will show you what has been done in legislation to bring us to this point. It also documents the many policy concerns with this level of information sharing and why we should not be permitting it to be done nor being asked to pay for it and ‘forced’ to implement it in our states. Study the presentation and talk to your friends about it. We must be able to tell people why we do not want to share our data and why it should not be being collected and retained. We must understand that if collected it will be shared with/without your ‘permission’ because ‘they’ can. Once shared, there is no way to put the genie back in the bottle. What will happen to your identity if you no longer ‘own’ it?

In closing, Amanda gives the joint committee seven recommendations which we hope will be heeded by ALL of our elected officials and representatives who are charged with the public trust in any way, shape, form, or fashion.

1.Repent – not kidding here
2.Do not establish a state-based Health Insurance exchange – it will be the same as the Federal government’s version
3.Allow people to escape HIT/HIE system without penalty; do not penalize providers who opt not to adopt EHRs or participate in this system
4.Repeal state laws that prohibit individuals from seeking alternative health care services, i.e. homeopathic medicines or non-traditional treatments
5.Terminate the Oklahoma Health Information Exchange Trust
6.Audit the Oklahoma Health Care Authority – expenses outweigh benefits
7.Adhere to the OK Constitution – work to restore liberty
