LONANG: Law of Nature and Nature’s God

LONANG is an acronym for the Laws of Nature and (of) Nature’s God, a phrase first used in the U.S. Declaration of Independence, 1776. The phrase is also a plural contraction; a somewhat shorthand way of saying “the law of nature and the law of nature’s God.”

But the concepts embodied in the phrase didn’t originate with Jefferson. The law of nature was a common term used by historic legal writers such as Grotius, Burlamaqui, Blackstone and others. The law of nature’s God, a lesser used term, was more commonly called the divine law, or the revealed law, meaning the laws of God revealed in verbal form. So what are these laws, and what can be known about them? This is our task . . .

The Third Way Politics and the Third Way Heresy

Recently Brannon Howse wrote an article entitled “Newt Gingrich and the Third Way.” The article stated that he believed the politics of the Third Way was connected with the New Apostolic Reformation. Although this may be true politically, there is more behind it than it appears.

To backtrack, globalists like Tony Blair, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, and Newt Gingrich promote “Third Way” thinking, which combines Socialism with Capitalism to create a so-called third political alternative. Also included in the article is proof that Newt is an environmentalist, and that he is friends with Alvin Toffler, author of “Third Wave” also known as “Third Way.” Since the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) crowd has shown support of Newt, and now more recently Sarah Palin and Rick Perry, Brannon believes these charismatics to be the Third Way religion. With evidence that I found in Marilyn Ferguson’s “The Aquarian Conspiracy,” the Third Way religion is a group other than the NAR crowd, and is actually the Emergent Church.

The John Birch Society produced the following video on the deceptive sustainability program of Agenda 21.

Much of the material contained on this video has been discussed here, except for the loss of property rights. The way this is being implemented is an invasive scheme, with a plan of Communitarian government already chipping away at the sovereignty of every country. It is surely the system of the Beast.

Got a Leader for You!

I find that our military men if not our government leaders ‘get’ this message, please pray with me that the nation will once again recognize real leadership and humble ourselves and pray and seek Him first above all else!/sc]

Got A Leader For You

Seems as if Americans today are constantly complaining about the lack of leadership — someone to lead us out of the political and moral mess in which we now find ourselves. No doubt about it, there’s a batch of political figures clamoring and posturing for the job, but as yet — no one stands out above the rest.

May I make a suggestion? Why not use the criteria our forefathers used to pick their top leader. In fact, one like that may still be available.

Well now you ask — who might that be?

Let’s start by asking our American founders who did they pick — and pick they did! Let’s start by asking John Jay, George Washington, Sam and John Adams, James Madison and Patrick Henry. Who led them in thought and action?

John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court wrote “Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers. Our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based on and embody the Redeemer of Mankind…it is impossible that it should be otherwise and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian.”

Founding Fathers Knew Importance of Moral Values

Occasionally people wander into your life and change your life forever. I have been blessed with some truly remarkable friends through the course of my life, today I want to introduce you to Shelli Dawdy. If you follow this blog, you recently saw a post of a stop motion video by Tarah Dawdy a gifted budding young artist and photographer. Her mom and I have become good friends as a result of the Lord really because we both have a calling inside the political arena serving the Lord and His people in the process to the best of our abilities.

Shelli and her family live in Nebraska where she leads a group called Grassroots in Nebraska and together we share projects and information via the Constitutional Liberty Coalition and R3publicans. What some people may not know is that she not only organizes events, leads coalition efforts, writes and publishes online, but she homeschools her children. Recently after reading a very misleading article in a local paper, she wrote a series of articles about some apparently widespread misconceptions about our founding fathers and moral relativism. I believe you will find them educational and inspiring and sharable. You definitely will come away knowing that moral values are inherent to a free society. If we continue in moral decline, we will be enslaved. On the other hand we could choose to follow the Lord because ‘where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.^‘II Cor 3:17b
