December 6-14, 2015 I don’t even have a menorah at my house so lighting the candles properly didn’t happen. However, I have lit candles in the evening and paused to ponder being full of the Spirit, keeping our vessels pure and being attentive to Him. It seems odd that our heritage is so rich with traditions that we know so little about.

In my little attempt to learn more about my biblical roots I am studying the Hebrew alphabet this year. Here is what Joanna Francisco shared with me recently to help in that attempt. They are Aleph Bet Cards set against the background of Psalm 119.
