Oklahoma Heritage Farm is located near Vera between Bartlesville and Tulsa on Highway 75. It is the homeplace, family farm, store and project of Mike and Margaret Snow. Recently an article was written about them by Susan Albert in Bartlesville Examiner Enterprise.

Mike and Margaret Snow are carrying on the lifestyle of their five-generation family. Like their parents and grandparents before them, they work the soil, grow the crops, raise the farm animals and provide for themselves.
We were “self-sustaining” before the term became popular, Margaret Snow said.
With the Oklahoma Heritage Farm Store, situated on acreage south of Ramona off U.S. Highway 75, the Snows have opened up their home and farm as a way to share the wealth of homegrown heirloom produce, homemade goodies and gifts and decor that depict the diverse heritage of Oklahoma.
“We feel like we live the good life and want to share that with people,” said Snow, who acknowledged they work long hours in the garden, she cooks every day, and they don’t have a computer in their home.
“We love to work,” she said. “We’re not non-progressive; we like it that way.”
They grow heirloom varieties — the same seed they sell in the store, and they grow it as organically as possible. They sell what is in season from their own backyard and don’t bring in any produce from other vendors. Right now it’s the early vegetables and greens, she said. Later, they will have summer vegetables plus fruit.
What they don’t sell from the garden they preserve — in a jar, in the freezer or in a dehydrator. The Snows also give away a lot of produce to the church, neighbors or elderly who may need fresh produce.
The store has added a new jewelry line featuring ‘Dorinda’s Dabblings’ shared recently on facebook here >>>
A selection of essential oils from doTERRA are also available there at the store. If you don’t see what you need, ask about it!
Fresh produce is available daily and local honey and homemade breads and so much more.

I keep trying to figure out how to share with my friends the wonder of essential oils. OK, I’ve always loved perfumes and fragrances, but I never understood how interconnected the senses are and how powerful the stimulation of pure essential oils could be. I have used them to enhance breathing, relax, treat warts, reduce blood pressure, for serenity, and for mood elevation.
