Benjamin Baruch is the speaker’s website. In this interview he talks about how often prophecy has a two times occurrence and gives examples. He also talks about the USA in bible prophecy and how quickly the nation will fall. Possibly the most interesting thing though is about a word Jesus spoke to him about His 7 year ministry of which we have only seen 3 1/2 years so far. This one was off the charts in resonating with me; both in giving me new things to think about and in some areas reaffirming things we are currently experiencing making clear their meanings and their place in bible prophecy.
Background info: Michael Basham is Don Basham’s grandson. I knew Don and sat under his ministry whenever and wherever possible in the 1960-1970s timeframe. Don Basham was closely connected with the ministry of Derek Prince and Charles Simpson — all gifted bible teachers. Michael is on facebook here. We recently connected there and he frequently does livestream interviews called ‘SpiritWars’ there.
Your faithfulness [O Lord] continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you. NIV
The power behind the universe is not something purely physical. It’s not atoms or electrons or other scientific objects but it’s the Word of God. In the New Testament we are told that the heavens were formed by the Word of God. The universe, the things which are seen, were not made of things that do appear. That behind the whole world is that invisible, irresistible, creative and sustaining power of the Word of God. God’s laws govern this universe. They may be invisible, but they’re very real and according to this word that I’ve read, all things serve God.
Isn’t that a wonderful thought? Everything in the universe is fulfilling God’s laws and working out His purposes. And His purposes center in His people so that all God’s laws are really working together for our benefits.
In the New Testament Paul tells some Christians, “All things are for your sakes.” Can you grasp that? God’s laws and purposes – they are all for us. They’re all working out that which is good for us and they control the universe. Many other factors may seem to enter in, but ultimately its God’s laws that settle our destiny.

[Derek Prince’s teaching ministry has blessed me throughout my life, first in Jamaica when just out of high school and now with his daily devotionals via email. Thanking our heavenly Father for men and women who share the gospel tirelessly and with great concern for people to know Jesus and be set free from sin and death! One day when asking the Lord if I would fulfill my purpose? He answered me this way. “How could it not be so.” Indeed! More of a statement than a question. Worth pondering. Blessings/sc]
This book is very personal to me and my family. My folks met the Lord with Jesse and a few other people many years ago in the 1960’s. Our families visited together through the years and they taught us about their encounter with Jesus, their study of the bible and encouraged us to seek Him too. I remember bible studies in various homes specifically for the children. Many of the children met Jesus along the way and were baptized in the Holy Spirit as well. They now have their own stories to tell and most their own families. Special thanks to Jesse and my parents for pointing the Way and for bible teachers like Brother Frid, and Pastor Hong Sit and Derek Prince who gave us a firm foundation for life’s ups and downs. A few years down the road, my dad became a bible teacher and I have a few of his studies on tape. Jesse, retired now, has been writing and I am glad for the opportunity to share some of his work. I pray it will be a blessing to many and that we will leave a clear path for those that follow us.
Thanks Jesse for putting this part of the story in print!
The Preface to A Man of God by Jesse C. Jones
This is a story about a man, a place, and a time when the lives of many people were touched by a power they did not know existed, nor did they know that this power was available to them. The man that God used to demonstrate this power was unassuming and totally devoid of the pride of life that plagues most men, and has led an untold number into exaggerated self-esteem and conceit. He appeared in this appointed place without fanfare, and he came into our lives as a result of an event that he had no part in, and, as far as I know was not even aware of. That he had been prepared for this place and time seems to be without question, for things happened rapidly after he began to be used by God in the ministry to which he had been called.
Looking back on this time, some fifty years ago, makes me think about how a large storm moves through a place and changes everything, and then is gone. Like many of the changes brought about by the storm, the changes wrought in the lives touched by God through this man have not gone away, for they were changes to men’s hearts, and all the issues of life come from the heart (Pr. 4:23). I know first-hand about the changes in the lives of my family: this is something we will consider later in the book. But to tell this story in any meaningful way I need to describe the effect of this man’s ministry on other’s lives. There were many people touched by this outpouring of God’s grace and I am personally acquainted with only a few: many have gone on to their eternal reward. I wish I had more detail on the life of the principal character, but he and his wife have long since departed, and after fifty years there are relatively few knowledgeable sources still around. Nevertheless, I have used the contacts I could identify. I pray that readers will be touched by this story as I have been through the power of God manifested in this man’s life.
Just as Noah did in ancient times, world-renowned evangelist Billy Graham is sounding the alarm that the Second Coming is “near” and signs of the end of the age are “converging now for the first time since Jesus made those predictions.”
Earlier this month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the United Nations General Assembly “biblical prophecies are being realized.”
And last week, Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., claimed the world has entered the last days.
“When you see up is down and right is wrong, when this is happening, we were told this: that these days would be as the days of Noah,” Bachmann said.
In September, a poll by the Ventura, Calif.-based Barna Group found 4 in 10 Americans – and 77 percent of evangelical Christians – believe the “world is now living in the biblical end times.”
Now, a new wave of end-times predictions for 2014 and 2015 involving blood moons on Jewish holy days and prophetically significant events on the Shemitah – the ancient biblical year of the Sabbath – are igniting even more interest in humanity’s ultimate fate.
Throw in next year’s reboot of the “Left Behind” film featuring Nicolas Cage and the cinematic destruction of biblical proportions in “Noah,” starring Russell Crowe, and last-days fever is back with a mainstream vengeance.
“I think we’re on the verge of a global awakening in interest in apocalyptic events,” said Paul McGuire, an internationally recognized prophecy expert who is a regular commentator on Fox News and CNN and appeared on two highly rated History Channel specials, including “7 Signs of the Apocalypse.”
“I see a fuse being lit here, between what Billy Graham, Michele Bachman and Benjamin Netanyahu said, and I think there is going to be an explosion of interest in the end times like nothing we’ve ever seen before,” McGuire said.
Watching the signs
In an exclusive email interview with WND, Graham, 94, who is giving what may be his last message to the world as part of the My Hope America with Billy Graham evangelistic outreach in early November, said the world is “coming toward the end of the age.”
Special thanks to Paula and Tim Caswell for a memorable evening to delight a princess!
And now for a walk down memory lane with me. These pics capture some highlights through the years. I want to thank my friends and family for sharing the evening and for helping me get to this point in life. I would also be remiss to not thank those who have gone before me, especially my parents. I humbly bow before my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who died that all those who would come to Him in repentance and faith might live eternally with Him. May you know Him and walk in His way all the days of your life.
Today as I took time to rest and ponder spiritual matters, I once again became intensely aware of the need to take time out of our busy schedules and rest in Him. Some really wonderful sites of potential refreshing are now links on this site.
Over the years I have been blessed to sit under the personal ministry of Derek Prince. He opened the Word to me in a way that has been a blessing throughout my life. He has gone to be with the Lord now, but his teaching is continuing to multiplying across the nations and through time to multiple generations. If you fall in love with the Lord and the Word begins to unfold to you in a new way through his teaching you will be blessed indeed.
We have in our midst in Bartlesville a pastor who loves the Lord and His people and this community. Rod MacIlvane shares almost every week at Grace Community Church with great wisdom and compassion and practical insight. We are in Romans now and the sermons are podcast and available to all on a weekly basis. Visit in person or listen in when your schedule permits.
Recently, I have found a fascinating teacher in Chuck Missler. He offers a delightful mix of the revelation of scripture and science and creation testifying to the validity of the Word of God. As a seeker of Truth through the years, I take great pleasure in sharing these wonderful sources of inspiration in my life with you.
There is one more that I must mention, but am not able to share with you yet. My Dad, Ted Crosnoe, was a terrific Bible teacher as many of you know. I am working on putting some of his teachings online so you can listen anytime you wish. I completed the project of converting cassettes to CDs and shared them with some of you already. The next step will be to podcast them for all to have available! Coming soon . . .
