This publication actually occurred in July of this year (2022) but I have been wanting to do a blog on the topic because it was such a special event in my life! You see Anita and I grew up together in the Houston area in the 1970’s timeframe. Our parents were friends and we were best buds. Working on this book with her was an absolute delight – a trip through scripture together and a project formed out of our lives. It is now in print or at least online free to all to read, share, and download. I believe that it will bless your life!

From Anita as we were working on the book: “I am sharing a dialogue written over the years … a one on one conversation between the Holy Spirit and myself … others … and now you. If you have difficulty following, keep reading until you become wrapped up in the conversation. That’s when The Golden Cord will twist.”

Anita is a Follower of the Way, Daughter of the Faithful, Wife of the Honored, Mother of the Strong, Deemaw of the Precious. Lover of the broken, the lost, and the found. 

Called to be the Light in the darkness, to share His Truth and Hope for the hopeless. 

To stand with Wisdom as a standard against the wiles of the evil one … for our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. 

Her greatest accomplishment is knowing who she is in Christ … and in Christ alone.“

I’ve known Anita for most of my life. We were twisted sisters before we knew what that meant. We had adventures together, shared the Lord and many friends together growing up. We were both blessed to have believers for parents who taught us fundamental biblical principals. One thing not mentioned in the book is that she could sing “Amazing Grace” like no one else! This book is for everyone, at any phase of life. It is so unique, so Anita, so important, and so fun. It is profoundly simple and flowing too. It is indeed a conversation with her, but our prayer is that it will spark a life long conversation between you and our Heavenly Father through Yahshua(His Son)“

What I did last year (and for a few years actually)…

For the past few years, I have been working with Jesse C. Jones (a lifetime friend of the Crosnoes) on a number of books and new testament bible study guides.  These books are all available on scribd on my account there.  You can add them to your kindle account if you have one so you can read them from there.  The books are free to download and share – whatever works for you.

In these books, Jesse occasionally shares personal references to when he had an encounter with the Lord and mentions my mom and dad specifically in the book “A Man of God” which is about Brother Frid (a great bible teacher and mentor).  It is a remarkable body of work and I am glad to have been able to help make them available.  I served as both editor and publisher and am mentioned in the preface for the bible study guides.

I also did the simple cover work on the bible study guides, but a fabulous artist named Rex Morache did the others. I found him while looking for the cover art for the book on Revelation.  The cover for that book is one of his works that he permitted us to use on the book.  The others he created specially for us.

Have you ever studied the bible and found things you just couldn’t reconcile with your mind and your Spirit?  I believe if we are honest, we all have.  My good friend and biblical mentor for many, many years — has put together a book for us to help us on some very complex concepts and perhaps take us all a little deeper in understanding too.  It is dense with scripture references if you are studying to teach others on topics this little book includes. Jesse C. Publishing Books with Jesse C. Jones – The Path to Holiness

Many years ago, I met Jesse C. Jones and his lovely young family in Pasadena Texas.  I grew up there and went to school there…..

Years later we reconnected and I discovered that he was writing books.  His first was self published and is available in print via Amazon and other booksellers.

My review of this his first book is online there and below here:

When I was growing up in Pasadena Texas, my parents met the Lord in a life changing way and were friends with the author of this book. They established a bible study for the children of the adults getting to know the Lord and studying the Word together. We met in the ‘upper room’ at Jesse’s house and we studied so we could grow in the knowledge of Jesus and His Word. I have a lot of love and a depth of gratitude to this author for helping guide me to the Lord at an early age.

I am so glad he has written this book. It is like none other that you have read — probably because Jesse is an engineer rather than a story teller. It is not a long book, but it is dense with scripture; some printed out for you and more references to take you as deep as you want to go with each chapter. I have suggested to Jesse that it would be perfect to provide online for small groups to use as guidance for bible studies. It is both foundational and for the believer who wants to go deeper. Isn’t the Word like that though?

I marvel that eternity may not be long enough to get to know our Creator! It is like an expanding understanding whether you go outward or inward. Time and dimensions seem to expand and contract as needed as we move in Him. I marvel at both the complexity and the simplicity of the Gospel.

One other thing that is very special about this book is the way Jesse had it published and what he does with the proceeds. He self published and any profits go to help a food bank in his community. So read the book and bless your life and a local community as well. What a roll model for us all! Thank you Jesse for oh so many things. May the Lord bless this effort in ways beyond your comprehension~

This author has more books available online via my Scribd account there (scrosnoe). They are free and downloadable and sharable too! One of she latest ones is discussed here […] and it talks about one of the bible teachers sent to this author in the early days of his spiritual development. My family was on that journey with him so it is a very precious story to me.

 

Since then and in the past couple of years, Jesse has written a series of books available online and free to download.  We have been honored to have Rex Morache, a gifted graphic artist, provide many of the covers — each one special and timely.

I hope to be doing a series of articles on these books but for now if you want to explore on your own, here is the link to all of them available on scribd >>>.

You can read them online and/or download and print.  I believe they would make good study guides for home bible study groups because they are so dense with scripture references.  You decide what works best for you and share freely as we have here.
