The Case for Christ — one Man’s Journey to Find the Truth

The movie is compelling on so many levels. It was refreshing to see a journalist actually dig for a story and admit when he makes a mistake! The story is about Lee Strobel and his efforts to research and debunk the ‘myth’ of Christianity and faith. He is a writer and a seeker of truth from beginning to end.

If you are paying attention you can almost see the hound of heaven pounding on the door of his heart.  You can see the prayers of his wife materialize on the screen.  You can feel the agony of a man’s journey to find the truth even when it defies all he has built his life around.

Don’t miss this movie when it is in your area.  You and your entire family will enjoy and probably learn something too.  Did I mention there is a subplot that is as compelling as the main story.  It revolves around a court case and a media story that causes his conviction wrongfully.  I wonder how many of us would have had the courage to admit we were wrong and correct the matter?

The Paths of Life – Cancer and what is really going on!

Recently a good friend of mine, Clint Young, from Texas shared a book he is working on.  He has a pretty remarkable testimony which he reveals along the way; he has a lot to share regarding the problem of cancer and choosing the Lord’s way in our lives.  He told me that he will not have any books available for at least a month.  He plans to place the first printing order in soon.

Clint told me that he has read a lot of cancer books in the last 14 years.  The one from Dr. Gerson was one of the best.  He was helping terminally ill patients recover from cancer 70 years ago.  Clint has collected his best analysis on the cancer subject.  It is one of the best, if not the best, for someone that has cancer and does not want to go down the conventional path. [I just read chapter 19 and was blown away!]

Foreword:

A battle is going on.  It is a very serious battle if you have cancer.  It is a battle for your life.  This enlightening book will shine light on what is really going on when it comes to cancer.  With this enlightenment not only is found the knowledge to effectively resolve cancer but to address the cause of cancer which is much more important.

In 2002, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer.  At that time my urologist could not give me a satisfactory reason for the cause of my prostate cancer.  Without him knowing the cause, I certainly did not feel like his advice would be the best to follow.  He wanted me to have my prostate removed.   Yet, he did not have the most basic of understandings regarding the cause of cancer.   I have found out over the years that it does not really matter how educated or highly esteemed one is in the medical profession, if they do not understand the real cause of cancer, then they are not capable of defining the best resolution for cancer.

To stay alive as long as possible and to thrive, I needed to find what did and did not work when it came to cancer.  It quickly became apparent that the medical system could neither provide a higher quality of life or more life if I followed their cancer treatment recommendations.  When looking at the long list of potential negatives and with no respectable documentation to substantiate the few positive claims they made, I decided not to go down the medical path when it came to cancer.

Instead, I followed a natural approach in dealing with cancer.  That was 14 years ago.  Taking this path has proved to be most beneficial.  This has become more and more evident as the years have gone by.  I know that I have obtained many more years of life by following the paths of life that will be discussed in this most enlightening book about cancer.

This book mainly focuses on our physical body. However, the spiritual is also looked at because therein is found direction and help to find your own special paths of life. Therein is found the strength to follow each path of life that is revealed to you.

I have a Biblical perspective in writing this book.  Jesus Christ is my Lord.  I encourage all not to trust in any of man’s religions when it comes to their eternity.  That includes any of the many sects of “Christianity”.  Instead, repent as Jesus Christ commanded all men to do.  In true repentance is found eternal life.

Often extended physical life is also found in true repentance.  In the humility of true repentance is the willingness to follow the leadership of God.  Such following is most important not only for eternal life but also for physical life.

I present to you not only the resolution of cancer but also the keys to a longer and more vibrant life.  I hope you choose the paths of life designed just for you by a most gracious and loving Heavenly Father.  If so, you are on a most exciting journey that you will be most grateful to have found, embraced, and followed.  There are many rewards both physical and eternal for embracing and  following the paths of life revealed to you by the Heavenly Father.

 

Chapter 1:  The Paths of Life and Cancer

The paths of life are just that.  That is, they are paths that provide life.  To pursue the paths of life you must first believe that you will be adequately rewarded for that pursuit.  Second you must be willing to die to going your own way.  Finally, you must actually die to what you want to do in both how you think and how you live your daily life.  Instead of going your own way, you embrace and follow the paths of life. This does not occur in an instant.  It occurs one path at a time over years of time, perhaps even a life time.

The paths of life are provided to each person by God Himself.  They are there for those who are humble enough to embrace them.  As one finds and embraces the paths of life, more and more spiritual and physical life springs up.  Each step in walking the paths of life requires putting aside what you want to do.  It requires dying to self.  In this death to self life is found.

Acts 2:28 shows us the verse, “You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence”.  This verse shows us that God makes known to us the paths of life.  In that revelation is found both physical and spiritual life.  In that knowing is a wonderful plan and path for each person.

Life is far more valuable than anything this world has to offer.  Without life nothing here in this world has any further meaning.

The paths of life provide not only more life but also a better feeling body and joy.  The pursuit of the paths of life is a faith walk.

God reveals.  As we pursue that personal revelation, faith begins to grow within our being.  That faith may start out very tiny, perhaps as tiny as a small mustard seed.  But that tiny or little faith should never be discounted.  Even a little mustard seed can grow into a large and magnificent mustard tree over time.

When I seriously embraced the paths of life, I was just about to fall off my table of life.  Go to chapter 18 for more insight about the table of life.  I was pretty desperate to stick around.  I got real serious with God and His universe.  I actively pursued God to find out what I needed to do to live a while longer.  I was strongly impressed to begin my journey down the paths of life by getting off of both alcohol and coffee at the same time.

NOTE:  Not all are led the same way.  This is how I was led.  Others with cancer have other problems that are causing their body to be toxic.  In my case both alcohol and coffee where causing major problems because of my high daily consumption rate of both alcohol and coffee.

Soon after making these diet changes, I was impressed that I would gain an additional 2 years of life for adopting these changes.

Then 2 years went by and I got concerned.  I knew that I was about to fall off the edge 2 years earlier.  I knew that 2 years had passed.  I realized that I needed to adopt more of the paths of life to continue to live and to thrive.  In the last 2 years I did just that.  My life style is much different and much better than it was 4 years ago as I have embraced more of the paths of life.

My goal now is to adopt enough of the paths of life, fast enough to move away from the edge towards the center of my table to life to not only to stay alive but to thrive.  Most days I express the desire to move to the center of my table of life as fast as I can.

How do the paths of life relate to cancer?  If you have cancer, then your body is over toxic. It is toxic enough for the cancer mechanism to be activated.  This is pretty toxic.

Usually, multiple things need to be followed to help the body detoxify to the point that cancer is no longer needed to isolate the accumulation of excess toxins.  Many that have cancer have time to adopt enough of the ways of life to resolve their cancer and live for years and even decades longer.  Even those who have faster growing cancers can possibly find resolution if they pursue the ways of life quick enough.  How much benefit one gains from pursuing the paths of life depends upon how aggressively and how thoroughly one pursues their revealed paths of life.

I am aggressively pursuing the paths of life.  At first I was aggressively pursuing the paths of life just to stay alive.  Now I am aggressively pursuing to achieve a much better feeling body.  Also, I would like to achieve my full life potential.

I realize the reward of pursuing the paths of life is a great reward.  It is far more valuable than any other reward found in this world.

Sometimes I get stuck in making the paths of life a part of my life as fast as I would like to see.  When you understand the tremendous reward of a long living, vibrant, good feeling body; you really don’t want to get stuck in getting down the road with your paths of life.

Recently, I asked the Heavenly Father to give me a breakthrough in totally adopting several of the paths of life that I have been attempting to have victory in.  I prayed the following prayer:  “Heavenly Father, please help me to have a breakthrough in totally embracing 3 paths of life that I have not been able to have total victory in”.  Immediately, after saying this prayer, I was reminded of 2 things that God has shown me to do that I was not following.  These 2 things did not seem to relate to my physical life.  But they were hindering me from getting down the road.

All things that God and His universe reveal to you are related.  The paths of life may seem at times to not relate directly or immediately to your physical life.  But each revelation of what to do is important.  Until what has been revealed is being completely followed, progress often comes to a standstill.

I do hope you decide to pursue the paths of life.  The reward of doing so is GREAT!  This pursuit of the paths of life and the life, love, and faith that results from it is the most valuable thing you can ever possess in this world.

Opt-out Available for PSO’s Smart Meters – at a cost‏

PSO is now removing our reliable analog electric meters and replacing them with digital “smart” meters that include a wireless transmitter/receiver. But PSO has not told customers that an unofficial opt-out list exists. I say unofficial because the opt-out program is not legal until the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) gives its approval, which they could do any day.

Lack of space forbids a full discussion of why a smart meter might not be such a good idea, but in summary smart meters are undesirable because they are a health hazard due to increased radiation exposure; they significantly increase the risk of cyber-security breaches of the electric grid; they provide further tools for an invasive government to perform warrantless monitoring of your home; they provide valuable data about your personal habits which power companies desire to be able to market; and due to their fragile, high-tech construction smart meters are prone to failure, often resulting in fires in consumer’s homes.

Although I am pleased that PSO is offering an opt-out, PSO has asked for exorbitant opt-out fees: a one-time fee of $183 if you opt-out before 12/31/2016 and $261 after 12/31/2016; and a monthly charge of $28.

In a hearing at the OCC Wednesday of this week the Oklahoma Attorney General, representing PSO’s customers, stated that the fees proposed by PSO were not fair, just and reasonable. The Attorney General provided several means by which the estimated costs of the opt-out program could be reduced; offered evidence of opt-out fees from a number of states, all of which were significantly lower than those proposed by PSO (the average monthly fee in the other states was $11); and argued that it was inappropriate for PSO to charge monthly opt-out fees at this time because the cost of reading existing meters is already imbedded in the electric rates customers are currently paying. In addition the Attorney General noted that in a recent filing OG&E has requested approval of an opt-out program and their one-time fee is 38% lower than PSO’s and OG&E’s monthly fee is 50% lower than PSO’s.

An additional problem with PSO’s opt-out program is that it does not include any consideration for those people who are extremely sensitive to micorwave radiation nor for low income households. Both the medically sensitive and low income households will suffer the most when a smart meter is installed on their homes, and it is unconscionable that the opt-out fees have been set so high.

If you, like me, do not desire to have a smart meter, then I suggest the following:

1) Call PSO customer service at 1-888-216-3523 and ask to be put on the opt-out list for smart meters. You will receive a call from the Bartlesville customer service representative. She will tell you that no official list exists yet, and will try to convince you to change your mind. Be polite – she is just doing her job. The decision to charge unreasonable opt-out fees – to even install smart meters in the first place – was made way up the PSO food chain. After making this call tape a note to your existing analog meter stating that you do not want a smart meter and that you have asked to be put on the opt-out list. Although PSO initially agreed to honor this unofficial opt-out list, they have not been uniform in their response when they (actually their contractors) come to your house to slap the new meter on (that is literally how it happens);

2) Call the three OCC Commissioners (Dana Murphy @405-521-2267; Todd Hiett @ 405-521-2264; and Bob Anthony @ 405-521-2261) and tell them you support, in fact demand, an opt-out program, but the fees proposed by PSO are not fair, just and reasonable. In addition tell them you want to keep your analog meter, not some partially disabled smart meter. Under the opt-out program PSO plans on giving you a digital meter with the communication chip disabled. There are very good safety reasons why you should want to keep your analog meter. Call soon, they could vote any day;

3) Call the Attorney General’s office and thank him for representing “we the people” in the PSO opt-out case and encourage him to continue to aggressively represent the people of Oklahoma against big business and big government; and finally

4) Attend an information meeting about the hazards of microwave radiation exposure (cell phones, smart meters, portable phones, baby monitors, etc.) to be held on Thursday, February 4th at 6:30 P.M. at the Bartlesville Public Library.

P.S. Feel free to forward this email liberally. The thing PSO fears most is a tremendous outcry against their outrageously high fees for customers simply wanting to keep their old analog meters rather than exposing their family’s to unnecessary radiation.
