The Blessing – He is FOR you!

Sometimes a song is anointed for you and sometimes for many – this one is for everyone IF they will hear (and do)! I am joining with others across the land and playing it out into my neighborhood and praying for the Holy Spirit to go from door to door and person to person blessing, healing, delivering, and encouraging as He goes. If you haven’t heard it before — soak in it, sing it, and pray it as often as you will! It is straight from scripture. However, the blessing is conditional to walking in His ways. So be sure you are doing that by studying His word and actually doing what He says to do. Set proper boundaries for yourself, your family and your community and watch Him move on your behalf. If you do — He is FOR you!

Here are the lyrics and credits:

The Lord bless you And keep you Make His face shine upon you And be gracious to you The Lord turn His Face toward you And give you peace

Amen

May His favor be upon you And a thousand generations And your family And your children And their children And their children

May His presence go before you And behind you And beside you All around you And within you He is with you He is with you

In the morning In the evening In your coming And your going In your weeping And rejoicing He is for you He is for you He is for you

The lyrics are taken from several passages of scripture: the priestly blessing of Aaron which is in Numbers 6:22-27, where He declares blessings of God over the people in the name of the Lord, and the blessings for God’s people written in the Mosaic Covenant (Deuteronomy 28:6, Exodus 33:14). See also Exodus 20:6, Deuteronomy 7:9, and Psalm 103:17-18. Please notice that each of these passages is conditional to walking in His ways!
