A Life Dream Begins to Come to Pass

On Saturday, April 14th, at our District 01 Republican Convention in Tulsa, Amanda Teegarden graciously placed my  name in nomination for Republican National Delegate.  I am pleased to report that I received an alternate delegate slot and I will go to Tampa Florida in August.  I will be asking the state convention in May to upgrade my status to delegate and we will see if that can yet occur.  I would appreciate your continued prayers on the matter.

Thank you Amanda Teegarden for nominating me!

Because of the time allotted to all the candidates to speak and because of my wanting the speech to NOT be read,  here is what was ‘planned’ but I cannot tell you what was actually said.  If I get a video link, I will attach it later to this post for you:

I am Sandra Crosnoe. I am from Washington County. I appreciate the opportunity to speak to you today.

I appreciate you being here today to make decisions for our district and for our party. I know you sacrifice time from your family with every moment you spend on political matters. I appreciate that sacrifice.

I know because I have served with many of you on committees and on various projects. I have served as a Republican precinct chair for over 30 years, first in Texas and more recently since I came to Oklahoma in 2005.

You may be aware of my work online with blogs and communication networks, with social networking, with organizing rallies and teaparties, with speaking and mentoring and training in person and via Skype.

Through it all, I have encouraged people to get involved with their local Republican party, serve in volunteer roles, and talk to their representatives in order to really make a difference.

You did and you have and you are. You are here today. Some of you are serving in office and others are now running for office. We have more work to do together!

What draws us together as Republicans are our core principles and our shared values:

We are for limited constitutional government and for free markets and yes, a lot less government.

We support the second amendment — the right to keep and bear arms.

And yes we are prolife — because every life is precious and a gift from God!

I know that together we must hold our leaders and ourselves accountable to these principles. I know that we are a party that believes in the rule of law AND promotes grassroots activism. I believe that every voice is important. I will work to make sure that things are done according to the rules. I will insist on openness and fairness to make sure that everyone has a chance to participate. If you send me, I will go. I will continue my work to get our message of Life and Liberty out across the Land. This election is about more than the just the presidency. It is about promoting people of principle who will make a difference. Together we will Restore the Republic so that future generations may live free and prosper in this great Nation.

I pray God’s blessings on this District, this great state of Oklahoma and this Nation.

I would appreciate your vote for Republican National Delegate!

Yes Sandra Crosnoe wants to serve as a Republican National Delegate — Congressional District 01 votes on Saturday April 14th in Tulsa

R3publicans

Here’s an open letter to share with friends going to the Republican Party District 01 Convention in Tulsa this weekend.  I am asking for your vote and your prayers and your support in this effort.  Thank you for all you do for life and for liberty in our land!

Dear Republican Friends/Leadership,

Most of you know me from things we have worked on together or via websites/blogs/emails/ and our mutual efforts to get our country back on course. I would love to represent you and serve in the capacity of a delegate to the National GOP Convention this year. I believe my experience serves the party well in this role. Most know that I have worked tirelessly to move the ship of state in the ‘right’ direction. I place core principles and operating philosophy above party, because I believe that is what will best grow our party and solve the tremendous problems we face. While Christian values will always trump party politics, I think that is what makes our party the hope of the nation — because we do honor ethics and values in our party.  Sure we need to do better and we will as we challenge one another in the process and as we shine the light on matters.

We as a party must now come to a consensus and work together in the days ahead not only to defeat Obama, but to elect principled conservative, Republicans up and down the ladder.  You know me and that  I will continue to work to get out the truth and build our party around core principles.  On that you can rest assured.  In addition to that, I will continue to work to keep people involved in productive ways. There is much we all agree on and much left for us to debate as we work toward difficult economic solutions ahead and get our businesses set free from over-reaching regulations so that they can truly prosper and innovate and create jobs.  We need less government — a lot less government!

Through the years I have served on most committees and in most volunteer roles available in campaigns and relative to issues advocacy in the Republican Party both in Texas and now in Oklahoma.  In recent years, I have focused on communications networks and mentoring future leaders.  I appreciate the many people and the countless hours that go into making our party great.  You are a part of that process.  Thank you!  Together, we must hold our own people and our own party accountable to our platform and core principles even as we challenge our opponents on substantive matters.

It is important what we say and how we say it. The message and the actions must line up!  I helped with some of the original teaparty efforts and rallies and became widely known for social networking;  training and mentoring others all along the way.  I will work with you to continue to grow our party and I believe that in doing so we will all help to Restore the Republic in the process.  This will cause others to join us and actively engage as they see that we mean business and we mean what we say.

I ask for your support to be a delegate to the Republican National Convention to be held in Tampa later this year. I will do my best to represent you well and will work with with others to reach consensus on what is truly best for our party and our nation.  We will achieve our common goals together.  We must.  The very future of the nation depends upon us doing so.

Vote Sandra Crosnoe for National Delegate for Life and LIberty in our Land

Silver Lake Road Extension Eminent Domain Vote on Monday — Why? — Because We Can, But Should We?

Thanks to Sharon Hurst for the heads up on this, I plan to let my city councilman know my thoughts on the matter.  Hope you will do the same.  Here is Sharon’s email to me just received:

On Monday, the City Council will vote to exercise its power of eminent domain and take property from Evans Nursery in order to construct the Silver Lake Road extension.  I don’t know about you, but I find it extremely disturbing to see our city government using power to seize private property.   This is the kind of thing they do in Connecticut or California… not in Oklahoma!  Yes, we know there may be some rare instances when eminent domain is absolutely necessary.  But is this road really such a necessity that it requires the City take property from people who don’t want to sell?  I think any of us would be hard pressed to say it is.  Especially when we remember this has nothing to do with diversion of traffic and everything to do with easier access to Robinwood Soccer Fields.  Don’t forget — this Silver Lake Road extension was originally part of the 2007 Park Proposal.  I’m also curious… is it legal for the City to exercise its power of eminent domain over property outside the City limits?  Two parcels of land fall in Washington County – not within the City (or at least that’s the legal description from the Resolution in the City Council packet).

Let’s hope these City Council members, who have professed themselves to be such avid private property rights advocates, hold to their principles when it comes time to vote on Monday.  Why not send them an email or call them, and let them know what you think?  Or better still, come Monday night at 7pm and tell them in person.

City plans to condemn property

By Jessica Miller

jmiller@examiner-enterprise.com

Steps to condemn property in the path of the Silver Lake Road extension are expected to be taken by the Bartlesville City Council during a 7 p.m. meeting Monday.

According to a resolution that the council will consider during the meeting, employees and agents of the City of Bartlesville have been unable to acquire certain tracts of land necessary for the construction of the roadway extension — between Frank Phillips Boulevard and Tuxedo Boulevard.

City of Bartlesville Director of Engineering Terry Lauritsen said Friday that the land to be considered for condemnation is located on the very north end of where Beck Drive ties into Tuxedo Boulevard. He said the city is looking to square up where the road ties into Tuxedo to make it more perpendicular to Tuxedo.

If approved, the resolution states that because the land cannot be acquired by negotiation or purchased at Fair Market Value, the city attorney is authorized and directed to institute necessary legal proceedings to acquire the rights, title and interest to the land “by the exercise of the power of eminent domain and to take such further action as may be convenient or necessary to acquire the identified property interest.”

The resolution also states that an emergency will be declared to preserve the public peace, health and safety “by reason of which this resolution shall be in full force and effective immediately from and after its adoption by the council and approval by the mayor.”

From the About page on Oklahoma GOP website:

History: Since 1906, the Oklahoma Republican Party has been working to make Oklahoma a better place for families and businesses to prosper. The OKGOP represents the values of most Oklahomans. We are the party of lower taxes, smaller government, personal empowerment, and individual responsibility.

The Republican Party has grown to become a powerful force in Oklahoma today. During the 2008 election cycle, the McCain-Palin ticket won 65.4% of the vote in OK, the highest percentage in the nation, thereby giving Oklahoma the title of “Reddest State in the Country.” In 2010, the OKGOP had the most successful election cycle for Oklahoma Republicans in state history- sweeping all eight statewide races, including Governor, and expanding majorities in both the state house and senate.

As Ronald Reagan put it, “A political party is a mechanical structure created to further a cause. The cause, not the mechanism, brings and holds the members together. I believe the Republican Party can hold and should provide the political mechanism through which the goals of the majority of Americans can be achieved.”

Statement of Principles:

We believe in limited government, individual liberty, and personal moral responsibility.

We believe Oklahoma should be a place of opportunity where people who work hard and abide by the rules can pursue their own dreams with a reasonable expectation of success.

As Republicans we believe:

  1. Our rights of life, liberty, and property are natural rights granted to us by God and protected by the Constitution.
  2. In the right to worship as we please without government intrusion or interference.
  3. The federal government’s power is constitutionally limited, yet responsible for protecting our sovereignty, establishing justice under law, and securing our liberty through a strong national defense and effective law enforcement.
  4. God is the Author and Creator of life and that all human life, both born and unborn, should be protected.
  5. In traditional marriage consisting of one man and one woman.
  6. It is the private sector and free market principles that best stimulate economic development rather than government subsidies or programs.
  7. Taxes collected at all levels of government should be used only for legitimate government functions, and those functions carried out efficiently so that tax rates may be kept as low as possible.
  8. That government closest to the people governs best and is preferred to centralized control.
  9. It is the right of every parent to act in his or her children’s best interest including choosing the form of education, whether public school, private school, or home school.
  10. We should welcome immigrants who want to legally seek freedom and opportunity, who want to work for a living and who will embrace our values, learn the English language, and respect our national sovereignty.

Do Not Connect the Dots USA via GiN: Keystone XL Pipeline will Increase Gas Prices!

TransCanada Trojan Horse: Keystone XL Pipeline Will Increase Gas Prices

Grassroots in Nebraska via Shelli Dawdy

As we’ve noted here, more than once, our primary interest in the Keystone XL pipeline project was the conduct of Nebraska’s elected officials at both the state and federal levels, and serious concerns about property rights. We did not have an overall position on the project and we did not recommend any particular action. Our simple purpose was to expose, as widely as possible, the truth according to all of the information that we had available so that Nebraskans would learn who is representing them (or not) in office. It was our analysis that Nebraskans’ primary concern is the property rights issue; people are particularly repulsed that a private foreign company has the power under our state laws to invoke eminent domain.

We did not call for a special session of the State Legislature because:

  • Too many legislators who had previous opportunity to act chose not to; they were either deliberately obtuse, at best, or actively worked to bury information about the State of Nebraska’s ability to exert its sovereignty.
  • The eminent domain problems within Nebraska’s statutes have not been mentioned by any legislators expressing concern, or by the Governor, so it was unlikely to be dealt with by them during the special session.
  • We were concerned that legislators would create or expand a state commission with appointed or hired members not accountable to the people of Nebraska, which would result in yet another morass of bureaucracy. In addition to poor stewardship of taxpayers’ money, elected officials would be provided “political cover”. Ultimately, we feared, it would prove ineffective now and in future.

Nebraska’s officials have already placed the State in an intractable position…

  • No action meant no fix for the property rights problem, no exertion of state sovereignty, inadequate reimbursement to counties for expenses caused by project, etc., and continued concerns about the pipeline’s placement through Holt County, which arguably, is a point of vulnerability along the route.
  • Action as proposed still meant no protection for property owners, high potential for running afoul of the Constitution (ex post facto1.  and “special legislation”2), and delays resulting in a costly lawsuit filed by TransCanada (bad faith3) and now, reportedly, potential lawsuits filed by other states in the line of the project.

Prior to this past weekend, at most, we would’ve recommended concerned Nebraskans focus on a “Hail Mary” effort to impact the eminent domain problem during the special session of the Unicameral. But, in researching some questions associated with this, we discovered some very disturbing information. It’s been difficult to absorb.

Our research is ongoing – what we know so far leads us to the following conclusions:

The TransCanada Keystone Xl pipeline project will result in increased gas and diesel prices in 15 Midwestern States – to the detriment of those states’ citizens and economies.

The project, led by TransCanada, was apparently designed by a cartel-like group of interests, essentially, as a market price manipulation tool.

TransCanada’s own documents confirm the purpose of the project; a 2009 permit application submitted to the Canadian National Energy Board lays out the facts. In addition, a group researching questions regarding TransCanada’s claims of “job creation”, allege the company made similar statements in shareholder presentations; but we have not had time to confirm as of this writing.

The permit application document includes the following points4

  • Bitumen projects (tar sands oil) are cheaper to develop than synthetic crude
  • New export markets are needed to handle increased heavy crude output
  • Keystone XL Pipeline provides a line for getting heavy crude to new markets now – option to move synthetic crude in future
  • PADD III (see map, below) is the largest untapped market for western Canadian crude oil producers
  • The U.S. Gulf Coast (USGC), within the PADD III region is the stated target market for the Keystone XL Pipeline
  • TransCanada has binding long term contracts with shippers in the USGC which are not fully available for public viewing
  • The fifteen state Midwest region, PADD II, is oversupplied with Canadian heavy crude and currently receiving “a discount” (translation: selling for a lower price)
  • Keystone XL will “strengthen” (translation: increase) prices for Canadian producers by removing oversupply
  • Keystone XL provides additional benefit for transport out of any synthetic crude oversupply in Midwest (PADD II) “to mitigate a price discount” (translation: avoid price reductions)
  • All Canadian producers should benefit from resulting price increases (estimated at $2 – $3.9 billion)

Market analyst Philip Verleger projected a $.10 – $.20 increase in cost per gallon as a result of the project, in his editorial entitled, “If gas prices go up further, blame Canada“, in the March 13, 2011, edition of theStarTribune.

Energy Information Administration U.S. Petroleum Administration for Defense District (PADD)

We do not claim to be the first group to point out the purpose of this pipeline, but it’s clear that the most important aspect of this issue has gotten completely lost or was never considered. Our research shows that several national news outlets and a U.S. Senator have attempted to draw attention to the market manipulation issue. See Footnote5 for a couple of examples.

Several groups in Nebraska have included, at one time or another, passing references to the fact that the pipeline will increase gas prices, but we have only seen it included in a general list of concerns, and it is always overwhelmed by a long list of environmental rhetoric.

One story on the subject did appear in the Lincoln Journal Star in February of this year, but for no explicable reason, this information has not appeared in any of the recent articles or editorials we’ve seen. Since the entire project is predicated on the concept of “national interest”, any coherent analysis of the subject would necessarily include concerns about negative impact.

The pipeline project undermines America’s sovereignty, erodes energy security, and decreases the likelihood we will tap our own oil.

STOP Sotomayor Now — Vote this week!

Sandra Crosnoe - Finding Gems & Sharing Them

STOP Nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to US Supreme Court

Sotomayor hearingsPosition: Senate members should oppose her nomination, vocally.

Reasons:

Sotomayor has made public statements and issued rulings that indicate:

  • Lack of respect for the right to bear arms
  • Racial and gender bias
  • Lack of respect for property rights
  • Has indicated “empathy” is a higher priority than following the law

Further:

  • Made a statement that appellate court judges make law
  • Her testimony last week has troubling contradictions in contrast to her writings and the facts of her life.
  • During her testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, she showed a surprising lack of technical legal knowledge during some questioning, particularly in an interchange with Senator Hatch.
  • Has had a high rate of judicial error – 40%+ (her rulings were overturned)
  • Supports abortion through her statement that Roe v. Wade is settled law

Principles:

  • We should oppose those who are not clearly strict constructionists
  • Supporters of the Constitution in the Senate need to start showing themselves
  • Members of the Senate need to put the President on notice regarding this and future nominees to the Court

Status:

Conclusion of the hearings process, no clear date available regarding full Senate floor vote

Links:

Gun Owners of America has been closely watching and researching this nominee, providing very good general information (beyond the Second Amendment) on their site.

GOA’s Executive Director Larry Pratt, was a guest on a special episode of the Blog Talk Radio show The Constitutional Liberty Coalition Gets Grizzly on Thursday, July 16 to discuss the Sotomayor nomination. Larry gave a good deal of detailed information about Sotomayor and why her nomination should be opposed. You can listen by clicking here.

Former Supreme Court Nominee Robert Bork made statements regarding Sotomayor and recent history on the confirmation process on Newsmaxx, Tuesday.

Wall Street Journal article on how little information was gleaned from Sotomayor’s testimony.

SUGGESTED ACTIONS:

  • Maintain pressure on US Senate and House representatives (contact them)
  • On particular issues, contact your Governor, State legislators, county, and city representatives.
  • Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper
  • Forward this message to everyone in your contacts list

CONTACTING CONGRESS:

  1. Call the office for your Senator or House representatives
  2. Ask to speak directly with your Senator or Congressman
  3. Be sure to give your zip code so they know you are a constituent
  4. Be polite, but firm
  5. The next best method to a phone call is a fax, the least effective is email (make the phone ring in the office!)

WHY CONTACT YOUR STATE & LOCAL REPRESENTATIVES?

bill of rights

  • Several bills currently moving through Congress, if passed, seriously encroach on states’ rights, and in turn will put a lot of pressure on county and city governments.
  • It is essential that our state governments assert their sovereign rights
  • Although State legislatures are not currently in session this is the period during which legislators have the time to consider issues that need attention, or bills they will sponsor.

Subject: Oklahoma HJR 1003 Claiming Sovereignty under the 10th Amendment to be heard Wednesday, February 11, 2009!

Calls and emails needed ASAP

The next meeting of the Rules Committee of the Oklahoma House of Representatives will be  Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 3:00 pm in Room 412-C at the Capitol.

Among the several bills to be heard is OK Representative Charles Key’s HJR 1003, which claims state’s rights under the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

The 10th Amendment states:
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Oklahoma HJR 1003 declares, in part:
“THAT this serve as Notice and Demand to the federal government, as our agent, to cease and desist, effective immediately, mandates that are beyond the scope of these constitutionally delegated powers. THAT all compulsory federal legislation which directs states to comply under threat of civil or criminal penalties or sanctions or requires states to pass legislation or lose federal funding be prohibited or repealed.”Oklahoma is looked to as a leader in state’s rights and it is important that this bill pass both the House and the Senate in 2009.

Please call and email Rules Committee Chairman Representative Gus Blackwell and the other committee members to let them know you support HJR 1003 and to respectfully ask them to move this bill to the floor to be heard and considered by the whole House.House Rules Committee Contact information:

Biometrics+RFID Technology+Data Sharing=International ID & Tracking System

axxiom banner cropped

I am sure everyone has seen this astonishing (for some) article from the Financial Times that openly speaks of the real possibility for the formation of some form of a global government.

And now for a world government

We all want to wake up our fellow citizens to the peril that we are aware of but I think that our efforts at the moment will be more effective aimed at lawmakers. There is plenty of “waking up” to do among the people working under the capitol dome in OKC and other states. One thing we can do besides wringing our hands is to start inundating our lawmakers in our very own state and ask them to protect the sovereignty of Oklahoma by adopting the Tenth Amendment Resolution as quickly as possible, as first order of business this legislative session.  This resolution is accompanied by approximately 8-9 bills created to specifically address the outrageous identification methods proposed by the federal government that does nothing to increase the security of Americans and instead will make them more vulnerable and less free than ever before.

Oklahomans will hold an assembly to promote the Tenth Amendment Resolution and other bills being introduced (not only on Oklahoma, but in as many as 20 states across the country) that would create new laws designed to prevent misuse of technology that puts our most basic rights in jeopardy.

The Citizens Assembly for Oklahoma Sovereignty will be held on Jan. 3rd, 2009 at 7pm in OKC.

The Real ID act is the most widely known example of the sort of technology misuse we aim to stop. The fact that it is an unfunded mandate is not the worst part of this act.  The collection and sharing of biometric data, not only nationally but INTERNATIONALLY that it enables would undermine our freedom on so many levels as to render the liberties we still retain a moot point.  Don’t let them snow you-this is exactly what they intend to do.

The Homeland Security Department’s plans for sharing biometric information internationally — designed to counter the threat of terrorism — face resistance from domestic privacy advocates and European governments that follow stricter privacy laws that protect personal data.

Senior DHS officials speaking at a recent conference on biometrics and privacy policy outlined the ethical imperative for technical standards that would foster unrestricted biometric data sharing. And while they say they recognize and agree with the need for privacy policy, threats of terrorism require governments and private companies to completely eliminate barriers to biometric data sharing.

Robert Mocny, acting program manager for the U.S. Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator Technology program, sketched the outline of a Global Security Envelope of internationally shared biometric data that would permanently link individuals with their personal data held by governments and corporations.

Although Oklahoma has prohibited participation in the REAL ID in 2007 when we passed SB 474, Gov. Brad Henry, who signed off on the bill later submitted a request to the Dept. of Homeland Security asking for an extension. This gives the impression that we may comply but need more time or resources.

This system is worse that a national ID, it will be a global ID

Under the REAL ID ACT, state drivers licenses’ must have a machine-readable strip that will contain personal information that could be accessed by foreign governments as well as private corporations.  The biometric data and the other personal data would become part of a database accessible not only by state agencies, but by the federal government and foreign governments, including Mexico and Canada.

Mark Lerner, nationally recognized biometric expert, cuts to the chase. “With the issues facing the world; war, economic chaos, poverty, dwindling resources, population growth and so on our government and others want a system of control over people and resources.  I ask everyone to consider there is only one reason our government is using standards (international) that call for global interoperability, the reason being control of the people.”

Biometrics is the key because biometrics allow for both the long distance and short distance identification of people.” says Mark.

By the way, a simple digital photo is all that is needed to gain your facial biometrics (facial recognition technology) you can be entered in this system of networked databases without ever giving consent. The DMV, for example, uses your digital snapshot taken for a state driver’s license in Oklahoma this way. CCTV, the surveillance cameras you see popping up everywhere also do the trick.

RFID industry insiders say the within 3 years the RFID readers will be refined enough to be read by low orbiting satellites (within 200 miles of the earth)

Your Biometrics entered into a database that is networked with other databases along with a little help from RFID technology and Walla! You now have yourself a global ID and tracking system. What could one do with one of those? Just imagine the possibilities….Please! Consider the possibilities.

**Biometrics is an individual’s unique behavioral, physical traits that are translated to digital form. See this document from OK-SAFE.,Inc. for more on biometrics.

If we permit these steps (Biometric collection, retention and sharing, the connecting of databases and RFID enabled documents) to be taken- then That is it!

There is no way to reverse it.  Once those databases are linked they will not be undone.  Our federal government, private corporations and international bodies will then have the ability either through malice, mistake or simply through the inevitable glitches that are present even in the best of data management systems, be able to separate us from buying, selling, traveling, working, receiving health care and a host of other of life’s necessities. Not to mention what a gold mine this would be for hackers and identity thieves. The U.S. government cannot even keep its own data secure.

But the government won’t be in control of your information; the databases will be managed by private corporations like AAMVA.

Here is an example of the fine work of EDS, the company that will and already is handling the AAMVA’s (American Association of Motor Vehicles Administrators) database;

Mark Lerner of the Constitutional Alliance made this statement when he recently addressed the Michigan House of Representatives;

Lawmakers at the state and federal level have been assured American’s personal information was not being shared with foreign governments.  Obviously information is being shared through aamva.net (American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators)  There is also Robert Mocny’s, of DHS, comments about sharing information with Europe, Asia and corporations to create a global security envelope http://www.gcn.com/print/26_03/43061-1.html Finally, an article in the Washington Post recently specifically addresses the collecting and potential sharing of American’s personal information with foreign governments.  It is noteworthy that DHS posted their intentions in the Federal Register.  It took a month for any media outlet to discover the positing in the Federal Register http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/08/19/AR2008081902811_2.html

Countries obligated to share data, U.S. official says

Mocny said governments should work together to build “a global infrastructure” of technology and systems to share information while ensuring that privacy protections and ethical practices are in place. He said “it makes no sense” to build “separate and disparate systems that don’t talk to each other.”

Essentially, your federally mandated Real ID card will be what grants you the ability to go about your necessary, daily life functions. Our Natural Rights are granted to us by virtue of birth by our Creator- Our rights to life, liberty, property . . .those are the un-a-lien-able (intrinsic, non-transferred)rights of every one of us since the moment we entered this world! Will you allow anyone to wield the power to separate you from the essential rights you came into this world possessing as a human being? It is not hard to grasp the danger that such a system presents to a free people.

If you feel overwhelmed by the myriad of issues facing us that threaten to destroy the founding principles of the United States, let me suggest a course of action that stands a chance to protect us against most of the worst of it.  Let your representatives know that you want our state to pass the Tenth Amendment Resolution. Tell them that Oklahoma must act to protect our constitutional guarantees to self-government.  This is the 11th hour and not the time for compromise.  Make an impression on the lawmakers who will not take steps to protect your rights. Call them – make it part of your schedule to make one call, send one email, one letter a day to your reps.

We are called to stand behind the lawmakers who have the courage to stand up to for the US Constitution and to the federal government.

The people will have to step up to the plate now and be willing to do whatever it takes to get their attention. This is too big of an issue to just leave entirely up to our lawmakers’ judgment . They may need more information and encouragement from us. Let’s do whatever it takes to stop this system from being imposed upon us including personal visits, handwritten letters and phone calls Let’s be thinking of more creative ways of getting the message across too. Can we send them singing telegrams? How about a quartet (or herd) of off-key, angry constituents? Caroling anyone? I’m not really joking, whatever it takes!

Call your representative and find out where he or she stands on the Tenth Amendment, Real ID, RFID, biometric identification and info sharing. How about the improper use of Social security numbers? One of the bills we need to support covers that too.

So far as I know, in OK we have about 8 representatives willing to take the high and narrow path by sponsoring specific legislation to prevent our information from being, collected, retained or shared in such a way as to compromise the rights of Oklahomans. Randy Brogdon (D), Charles Key(R), Mike Ritze (R), Anthony Sykes (R), Constance Johnson (D), Marion Cooksey (R), George Faught (R), and Jason Murphey (R).

We can, we must stop the destruction of this Republic. A strong turnout to the Citizens Assembly on Jan 3rd will help embolden other state officials to cast their lot for the US Constitution and will serve notice to the ones that will not that the tide is turning against big government.

Please join us on January 3, 2009 at the “Citizens Assembly for Oklahoma Sovereignty”
