To celebrate Darwin’s 200th birthday, Molotov points out a few of the conundrums liberals face concerning natural selection.

Two quick notes: 1) As a “Christian Supremacist”, Molotov believes that there are only 2 types of people, those who believe the Bible and liberals. 2) “For The Record” is now a bi-weekly video column at Worldnet Daily (www.wnd.com). In researching who is behind these videos and the network involved, this is all I have been able to find out:

Wondering who the filmmaker is behind the 13-minute attack video A Video Portrait of Barack Hussein Obama? So were we. Though the narrator identifies himself as “Lorne Baxter,” and e-mails to the production company are answered by “Rodney Talmud,” it turns out the man behind the video is a 28-year-old Christian television producer from North Carolina named Jason “Molotov” Mitchell, who has priors for inflammatory YouTubing….

The video was made by Mitchell’s company, Illuminati Pictures. Mitchell is former wedding videographer who now produces and hosts a weekly Christian television show called Flamethrower, which began airing on the satellite network Faith TV last October.  source Daily Kos  – May 17, 2008

Sitting in a tree and hacking at your roots . . .

I marvel at some people in leadership of all kinds that in order to attempt to retain power engage themselves in destroying the very base they are sitting on.  It is a lot like sitting in a tree and hacking at your roots . . .

Why would anyone do that you must be asking?  Yes why indeed, and yet we see it all around us.

Consider some prime examples:

• Bailout money being sent to the ones who created the mess in the first place to the destruction of the ones who send in the tax dollars.

• Republican groups who want to pick and choose which Republicans can attend meetings and participate.  Not like Republicans won big lately.  Looks to me like all are needed and then some.

• Corporate executives who take the money and run to the destruction of the company.

Leadership through Service – attend your precinct meeting on or about January 27th

This information is specifically for Oklahoma friends and neighbors who are Republicans:

Just a quick note to prepare now for your precinct meetings in Oklahoma. They will most likely be on January 27th some where near where you live. Call your GOP county chair to find out the exact time and location of the meeting and volunteer to serve on a committee when you call. If you don’t know who your county chairman is, shame on you, you should and all the more reason to call and introduce yourself. You must be registered as a Republican to participate in the precinct meetings – duh?!? I love this rule, seems like Republicans should make the rules for the Republican party don’t you think!

There is a flier with some suggestions and some additional information posted on R3publicans website. If you have sample resolutions that you would like to share with others, send them to me and I’ll try to figure out a good way to post them for all to see and share. Be prepared to serve in a leadership role in your precinct, because all are needed to restore the republic! We must reenergize and reinvigorate our party and get back to our core beliefs of limited government and protecting the rights of all!

Be a servant leader in your community and for our party in 2009 and beyond!

Note:  I met the most wonderful lady at our meeting in OKC recently who is a Senator (D) opposing the Real ‘dangerous’ ID legislation.  If you are a Democrat, please consider linking up with Sen Constance Johnson and visiting about what needs to be done on the other side of the aisle.  I am told that their precinct meetings are sometime in March.  At the end of the day it is about people of principle doing the right thing and treating each other fairly isn’t it!?

RNC Chair Race Heats Up; Still looking for a real champion . . . from Freeople.com

There are two posts that I would like to call your attention to and I want to make sure you are on Twitter too. Please join Twitter today.

Once you are there if you want to see something on this matter do a search on #RNCChair and you will see the conversations hitting the airwaves today on the topic. There are groups there for #RonPaul, #R3S (R3publicans), #ENDtheFED, #OFTB (Operation Fight the Bailout) just to name a few. Link up with me (@scrosnoe) and we’ll have some fun!

Now on the matter of the RNC Chair race, one of my twitter buddies sent me this blog calling for Mike Duncan, the current RNC chair, to do the honorable thing and step aside. That blog referenced on an article written by Michael P Leahy, who is one of the leaders of Top Conservatives on Twitter.

Here is an excert, but I encourage you to read the whole thing:

“There are a few who defend Duncan’s leadership. They claim he is a good manager of resources. This argument sounds to me like recommending the captain of the Titanic, had he survived the tragedy, to captain the very next transatlantic passenger ship voyage on the grounds that the kitchen of the Titanic did not once run out of rolls during the entire voyage… at least, until the ship sank in the icy waters of the North Atlantic.”

This race will set the tone for all future elections in the GOP. It will decide in part whether we will be able to rebuild the party based on top down or bottom up (grassroots) politics. It will decide whether we operate fairly and by the rules or make the rules say whatever suits our/their current purpose. It is important that it not be someone like Ken Blackwell (Ohio) and Tina Benkiser (Texas) who both have a history of breaking the rules in their own states over and over and over again to retain power. It appears that they are teaming up to run as ‘co chairs’ whatever that means!

The only people that can vote on this matter of RNC Chair are your State Committee Man and Woman and your State Chair. You however can influence that decision because your State Chair will be up for reelection most likely this year and will want your vote! Come on folks let’s restore the republic in our party as well as our country.

Now get out there and have some fun and make a difference too!

Ron Paul Press Conference Unifies 3rd Party and Independents

Ron Paul, who captured 1.2 million votes as a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, has urged the media to give viable third-party candidates the coverage they have lavished on McCain and Obama. The 10-term Texas congressman also urged American’s “silent majority” to become active in the political process and vote their conscience.

[Editor's note: This article made some things really connect for me.

I have been active in the Republican for years and it is all about moving the ship of state to the right (or limited government via the Constitution) and the Ron Paul movement is doing that very effectively. Palin is a by product of that effort. If RP is able to unify the existing 3rd parties on certain issues the results will be huge not only in educating the public, but in making both major parties re-evaluate their core positions on these issues.

His message of "freedom" is a uniter not a divider and it is a small handful of power brokers that keep trying to divide us on these critical issues: National Debt, Foreign Policy, the Federal Reserve, and Privacy.
